Hi Carol, Thank you very much for visiting my "Keukenhof - April 2007, Volume 2" album. It was the last time I used our analogue camera, which has now gone into retirement. You would enjoy "Volume 1" much more, as it was shot with my new digital camera and the images are much clearer and the colours truer. Since I got my new camera I have been taking photos like there was no tomorrow! Hi Carol. I've been admiring this album of pansies for quite a while now and keep saying to myself that I must send you something to add to it - but really the ones we have here are just ordinary, not a bit like some of the really spectacular varieties some of our friends are lucky enough to have. Anyway, I shall keep looking and who knows, SOME day I might come up with something!! For some reason we don't have any in our garden - we have tried them I know but they don't seem to like our very sandy, limey soil all that much. I'm going to have a look at your llamas shortly, too - we have a different name for them out here and I'll tell you about that when I get to the album. Meantime, very many thanks for all the comments you have left in my albums recently, especially the Three for Friday, which is rather a hit and miss affair because you have to take the photos irrespective of the weather conditions over the few days leading up to it!! I learned about that exhibition just a day before it happened and you already know that I cannot resist taking pictures of that kind of art. Unfortunately, I could not translate the titles of all hats so I preferred to leave my captions blank, let everyone interpret what he/she sees. Thanks also for visiting my new pictures in the 3 Photos a Week album. It was not an easy task to take pictures of the fireworks with my camera and without a tripod. Therefore, I was very happy that I could share few relatively good pictures of the fireworks with everyone. In the case of fireworks, still pictures or even videos cannot show the beauty that the eye can see. Have a wonderful day! Yair. Hi Carol, a lovely idea putting all these pansies in an album, I have several dotted all over in my flower albums, if you want to use any of them you are welcome.
