Fabulous Album! The light shining through the shells is so beautiful.How great to have a beach to shoot with so much gorgeous material to enjoy. Delightful album. When I was knee high to a Tadpole we lived near the Atlantic and I used to love collecting various bits and pieces of seashells and driftwood. Hi Poppy! We've had a lot of fun seashell collecting along the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida when we used to visit more often. Your collection is beautiful in the evening light or otherwise. Wonderful variety and color! Also, your question about Taughannock Creek & falls is yes, the creek does fill in the springtime when the snows melt and after heavy rains. But I understand that in late summer the water flow can slow to a trickle. I'm trying to collect sets of seasonal views of falls I've visited in one collection. The height and breadth of the gorge is very unusual for our area of the state and as I mentioned is canyon-like. Thank you for stopping by. It's always nice to hear from you all. Cheers, Ray

Susan, This album is so cool! I cannot believe after searching high and low for someone else to like taking closeups like these. I do not have a big collection of shells, but I have some, and made an album of Rocks n' shells. They both have a beauty that you do not see, until you really look! Taking macro pics of these really makes that possible,..so therefore I truly love the title of this album..it is just what I have been thinking. I think things are beautiful all around us that we take for granted, most people don't even think about it. So THank you Susan, my new friend..we share a common bond already!!!

Very interesting albums. The softness of the nature surrounding all these amazing structures that u have captured so well. I find framing, perspectives and playing with colour nice too. The sunlight makes some cool shadows too. Nice work.

Hi Susan, there is nothing more enjoyable than being out on the beach and checking out all the treasures one can find along the sand. My favourite thing to do and to see.
