  • I like albums like this that don't always follow a set theme or pattern. There's always that element of mystery - wondering what one will be seeing next and in this case we are seeing an album full of gems - 81 of them! Very nicely done. Once again it was very nice to see you visiting my 3 for Friday and I thank you very much for the nice comments. Our roses are now having their second flowering of the season but with the hot weather starting tomorrow there won't be much of anything in flower for the next few weeks. Take care, be good and I shall always wish I had been that Santa!!!! Hugs, Peter

  • Hi Barbara, Nice album! I particularly like the roses in your leading shot and the images of the mill bridge. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your kind messages on my shots of Michelangelo’s Pieta and of the Jaguar at the zoo. I first saw that Pieta in the Vatican Pavilion at the 1964-65 New York's World's Fair. It impressed me so much that it was one of the reasons for my first trip to Europe. That picture was captured on film over 30 years ago using a totally manual camera without even as much as an exposure meter. I was very lucky that day. The Jaguars are always difficult to photograph because they like dark surroundings that are similar to those of their South American jungle. A tripod and a lot of patience are absolute musts.

  • Hi Barbara! This is a nice addition for the photos we want to post and have to limit on our 3 a week. I tried to save your e-mail address but it kept saying it had a character not wanted. I have my msn address posted on our yahoo group. That is not really my main address, I'm with you I hate all those jokes and chain type e-mails. My address is segseven@msn.com if you will drop me a note I can save your address for future notes. Greetings and hugs, Susie

  • Thanks for the "tour" Barbara. This collection of yours is like mine "Regards from Portugal with love".Many of your photos could have been in the challenge. Was intresting to watch and think what I should have said here, what there. For me the challenge 3 a week is something extra nice to take part to.Learning every time something, again and again, and quite a lot too. Why? I remember the school days during my early years. There were four girls, had some problems with mathematics. Well I tought them something, but the funniest thing was that I myself learned quite a lot those days - amazing but sooo true. This challenge is one of the best things that has happened to me.Coming back with more time. This is something sooo nice, but you have to spend quite a lot more time to really love this type of thing, that's why I try to say something more, not only something like "beautiful scenery", try to analyze, I love photography, but aswell I love human relations and everything that is connected to that.Sorry, but I just had to say even this to you Barbara. Regards from Portugal with love - as always - Antti
