Christmas At Longwood Gardens - Featured 12/25/06

Hi Darlene, Im back to this album again. And your captures of the gardens are still just as beautiful as they were before. I really stopped by to thank you for your kind comments on my Delaware River in Winter album. Actually this year, when I finally had the camera to capture them, was a relatively poor year for bald eagles. Usually you can get some real close. Maybe next year. Thanks again. Mike

Dear Darlene, Congratulations on being "featured"! Fatastic album! I especially liked the one of the fountain and the rainbow! The whole album captures the spirit and beauty of the Season. Where is this garden located? When I was in highschool our drum and bugle corps, The Waltrip Imperial Guard, went to Longwood plantation, but this does not look anything like the Longwood in my old school pictures. Hey Darlene...WOW!! That didn't take long!! Weren't you just here a couple of days ago? I haven't had 5 minutes to go to Longwood yet this season, but my plan is to go next week and enjoy the sights and a Choral and Handbell concert performed by the students from the high school I graduated from. They are performing next weekend. One of the girls is the daughter of a friend of mine, and as it turns out, she was a part of the music program when we went there 100 years ago! It ashould be interesting! I hope my photos turn out as perfect as yours...as if! Talk to you soon!!
