Santa has been sighted off the coast of Oregon and photographed flying off into the sunset! He is headed toward Colorado! . . . http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2465578190051354762VHletw?vhost=home-and-garden

Hi Gary - great, great Christmas lights photos from your area of CO. We returned late today from Castle Rock and have many photos to go through. We were at Red Rocks yesterday and marveling at the natural phenomena. Colorado is really an incredible state! Thanks for sharing your visions of it. ... Judy

Hi Hary, nice album you have here, and I see your problem. I left you a message, which may help, although I don't think it's the complete answer. Drop me a line at the address in my profile, if you like. With all this wonderful subject matter around you, now is the time to be taking those night shots. I really enjoy night photography, it's opened up a whole new world for me. Cheers, Keith.

Gary Very nice work. I don't have a tripod and I can see where it was handy for these low light shots..To date I have been fooling around with the white balance and then really fixing up photos with the red, green and blue balance conrols. But all-in-all Picasa does a very good job of fixing up my photos. I have to use PhotoImpact to put the text on the photos - probably can do it in Picasa but at least with PI I don't have to start on the bottom of the learning curve. Off to Al's for Xmas, will have all the photos I took of Nick at the Cal-Stanford game made into prints and put in a book for him. Butch
