Good morning Yoshiyuki. I am still reeling from the beauty of this album. Thank you for taking the time to comment on so many of my photos, I'm sure this is a busy day for you. To answer your question on what the plant is with the lavender blossom, it is a Water Hyacinth, a floating plant that is used an an oxgenator for the watergarden. The bloom only lasts for one day, but unlike the water lily, it stays beautiful the entire day so is easier to photograph since I do not have to contend with the hot bright Oklahoma sun to do so. I grew a pot this year and what an experience it was and the anticipation of watching it form buds and bloom was very exciting. Alas, there were only the two but what a joy they brought.
