Thanks for the idea of using a soft brush to remove pollen (comment on my Trillium picture). Love your Bee Balm / Monarda pictures. One lady we knew used to refer to it as "wild oregano." I never tried it on a pizza, but I wouldn't be surprised if it worked.

Great album. vivid colors and outstanding macro shots. What camera do you use? Thank you for your comment on my 'Scarlet Muskflower' there is only one fied that I know of that has these beautyful flowers, for more and better pictures see my four wildflower albums. Hot and dry here in San Antonio and this was the only plant where there a usually several......... Art

Hello Marion, thank you so much for visiting my featured "Natural Patterns" album and for your great comments. I have just looked at your brilliant macros in your album and wow they are superb. The depth, sharpness and colour are outstanding. Better will not be found in the professional archives. I dislike cutting flowers, for this reason I carry pad of coloured cards which use for the background, for most of this year we have had nothing but wind and rain. (Floods in summer never heard of before) This wrecks the flowers wets the card and keeps the card and flowers in constant motion, with poor light thrown in for good measure. There even seems to be a shortage of bugs this year. It comes to something when you finish up photographing the raindrops running down the window. If you have a moment please take a look.
