  • Susie,It is an honor that you gave me permission to use these. I'll bet you don't remember this but way back on 9/20/03 I asked you if I could use your photographs to do some watercolor paintings from. And just like the sweet lady you are today, I got a response back that of course I could. I keep track of all of my computer friends who gives me permission. I have over 2000 paintings to date that I am trying to get posted. But before I get to the new ones I am going back to the old ones and putting a Do Not Copy across them. Since the copyright of the image belongs to the photographer, I am trying to do my part in keeping it that way, I have found my paintings on a Calendar and a Magazines without permission. I have also had people request putting them on cards and a wine orchard wanted me to do orchids for there wine bottles. (I would talk to the person (Photographer) if the money was right) But the wine company wanted to give me a bottle of wine from each of the series with my painting. Card companies want you to give it to them. I declined them all. I do respect where the people that gave me permission. So from now on none will be posted without the "Do Not Copy" Don't be suprised if paintings pop up in my albums from people that are not on Webshots anymore. GDallasc was the first person to give me permission on Webshots and since then I I now have seven 4 inch binders full of permissions.

  • Susie, what an inspiration this album is ... and reading the comments previous viewers have left leaves me nearly speechless. Our dear Bella's is a gem to savor and I pray God blesses her in her healing. ... I have no idea what it takes to grow the Lotus Blossom, but you certainly mastered whatever it is. Bless you and thank you for sharing your wonderful photography! ... Bug hugs from the Florida L@dybug, Judy

  • These are fabulous photos!! Wow, I'm so impressed. They also give me hope; I've just started some lotus seeds and their new shoots are growing in plastic salad bowls with mud and water. I plan to move them to my pond when it gets warmer (we're zone 6b). Any hints you can give would be most welcome! Lotuses aren't at all familiar in Nova Scotia. Now I've seen this album, I can't wait for mine to grow bigger! - Brenda

  • Hi Susis, these are beautiful! I hve often wondered if these were hardy for the winter, will they winter over in a large natural frog pond? Do you bring yours in over winter? Lots of questions huh. I sure would love to have these in my pond. Thanks for these wonderful photographs. regards Carolyn

  • Hi Susie, Thankyou for viewing and commenting on my Harvest 2005 album, last year was a bumper crop at the farm meeting this year nobody was groaning we seemed to have a good crop agian this year. The Pacific Northwest always seems to get just enough rain to at least give us a decent crop if not the bumper crop we are used to. This album of yours is stunning. The Lotus has always been one of my favorites and you have captured the dignity and grace of the flower to perfection! Thankyou for sharing, Ronda from Washington State
