This is a great album . I've been doing bonsai for about 27 years .I'll be putting out an album eventually . Some from the Weyerhaeuser bonsai exhibit in Federal way ( your probably familiar with it ) If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it and their large Rhododendron collection. My collection is large but not of the quality of the ones you photographed or the Weyerhaeuser collection though .Here is a link to some info on the Weyerhaeuser bonsai . Aloha Marjie!! This is a jewel of a collection!! Beautiful images so artfully composed! I love the bonsai and the beautiful blooms, lovely light and serene atmosphere. I will enjoy this journey through this lovely garden! I've always wanted to create a life size bonsai. I think it would be wonderful to do with a red maple. Of course it would need to be on the island as it would not survive in Alaska, indoors or out. It is one of the frustrating things for me, I have always had many many house plants of many varieties and sizes in every room of my home. And here in Alaska I have difficulty keeping an ivy alive in winter there is so little light and the air is so dry. I run an industrial size humidifier and it is still dry. It worries me, because if I cannot keep a plant alive, how good is it for me?? It is not possible to have a greenhouse as it would be so expensive to keep warm in winter. So I do love and miss plants in my home. I am off now to view the many images here. I wish you a lovely day my sweet friend and thank you for your notes on my collections. Sharon
