  • Hi Judy! That's LOT of ladybugs!!! I just saw your note in my G/B & thought I'd drop a quick note to say "Hi!" It's another BUSY day here at the office, but I'm glad to see that you're feeling well enough to be cruising around on the internet!!! Sending lady bug hugs your way, Lynn

  • Dear Judy; What a fabulous album! I just love this that these pictures have come from around the world to celebrate your nickname. Gotta say, some of those ladybugs looked HUGE! I am on the lookout now for ladybugs in all of their many forms, but I did want to share with you something I had done concerning ladybugs. Back when I had my nursery, mostly with roses and perennials, I gardened stricktly organic. No chemicals or bug sprays to contaminate my flowers. So I wrote a small article to give to my customers about controlling the aphids. Basically what I found, was if you just left the aphids alone, that in a few days, the ladybugs would show up for the feast of aphids. But your garden had to be free of the chemical pesticides or else the ladybugs wouldn't stop by. I never found my plants to be greatly harmed by the aphids and the ladybugs never let me down. Just a sweet memory to share with you. Hugs to you, my Ladybug friend, Marjie

  • Dear Judy, I was just thinking the other day, when I saw a ladybug, and did not have my camera with me, that from now on I will always think about you. And now this lovely album. You can be assured, that from now on seeing a ladybug, I will think about you. (grin from ear to ear). And yes, when I finally photograph it, you will be the first one to know. I loved your white sneaker story. It reminded me, that when I lived in Manhattan for almost 8 years, I was told, that I was the only person who noticed celebrities. No one else paid attention. They would also walk into a movie set oblivious to the surroundings. See your next great album! Roza

  • Hi Judy, another shared album! I love your collections containing the whole community! I've once made an album about the birth of a ladybird. If you would like to use a picture, please do so. You can take whatever you want. http://community.webshots.com/album/316277121XNhtlV Thanks for your many nice comments in my guestbooks and my message boards. I appreciate that very much. Thank you for the Mother's Day wishes. We have it on an other day, but it is nice to be reminded at an other day too. I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day too! We have here Bougainvillea in many colors, even with 2 colors on the same scrub. A fascinating flower. They grow everywhere and even better when not cultivated. Judy keep gathering for community albums. My pictures look much better in your site! Have a wonderful day! Galit

  • Hi Judy, Thanks for visiting my Richmond album and for your kind message. Lawrence is as keen on photography as I am, in fact, I got him going on WS yesterday - wol1234 - so he has somewhere to put his pics. The doors are there - he took so many! Although I am first here I haven't looked at your album yet! I am on my way to work in 5 minutes, so I will look when I get home later. I am sure it is another special one! Have a great day, Mandy
