What a grand album, Erin! Your macros are just awesome. That is something I've not had much patience or luck with, just very difficult to shoot a great macro (especially without a tripod). I guess practice makes perfect, you've more than proven that here! Thanks again for joining us on our little worldtrip on New YEars day. What a blast we had! All the shots were taken on our 1 week pre-christmas trip to las vegas, no better place to see the world in just 8 hours :D...Cheers and again happiest of New Years. marita

Hi, This is an outstanding floral collection and such close photography that they can be considered abstracts. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your kind words on my Moraine Lake reflection. A moraine, as you probably know, is the pile of rocks pushed forward in front of an advancing glacier and left behind when the glacier retreats. The rock piles here were actually the result of land slides.

Absolutely fabulous album; the macros are to die for. Now I want a new camera. But the eye of the photographer counts for more, and yours is obviously an eye with a gift. - Brenda (Nova Scotia)

Hi, the picture of baby pears was taken with my 35 mm camara, thanks for your nice comments. I will be adding new photos at the end of the month. Think the person behind the camara should get all the credit. They see the picture, and the camara catches what one see's.

In "Everybody loves Oregon," the bee's great! I've been frustrated trying to capture bees in not only sharp, but well-placed, "poses." And the twirly ends in Chicory Burst are so unexpected! Also, thank you for the kind comment on my album.

I enjoyed viewing your flowers albums. You have many beautiful photos. I also want to thank you for your kind comments in my albums. The truth is that my place is not very beautiful. The flowers you saw (Delphinium and papaver) were in an uncultivated field beside wheat fields in the most polluted area of my prefecture. There are three lignite power stations there (you can see the one in photo background). But if we want we can find beauty everywhere. Best wishes from Greece, Ourania.
