I would think I had died and gone to heaven if I found a room full of orchids like this with camera in hand. We visited Sonnenberg Gardens last week in Canandaigua, NY and they had an orchid room in their conservatory, but only about 4 plants in blossom. Beautiful photos. Donna

Amazing Orchids Eric...love the blue no 2 didnt know they could be in that colour...and the bright green no 27 what a colour...great pictures to hang. The whites no 18 are so contempory, love the flowing shape. Could have sworn 34 was a daffodil...the bright purple is dazzling no 51..great photography there. I have a few Orchids scattered here and there in some of my albums but not quite like that...I appreciated your comments in my guestbook thanks.Jo from good ol' England.

Hi Eric! Thanks for the kind comments in my guestbook. I love your Orchid album and see so many orchids that are so similar to the ones we saw at the Missouri Botanical Garden Orchid Show, but with slight differences. It is so fascinating that there are so many varieties of those gorgeous flowers. I wish I knew how to raise orchids, but I don't have the right conditions in my house. Hi Eric - I just love this album, I've been through several times already and change my mind on which ones I like best each time I look....I'm sure I will go through it a few more times yet. The first picture with those wonderful pillars and windows has to be a favourite, but I also loved 32, 38 and 42. Oh and Humpty Dumpty and the Lady in the ballgown both made me laugh! Gilly

I love orchids and your album! Great shots! Thank you for your kind words in my album. Next month I am going to a ladies greenhouse that is filled with orchids. She was setup at the orchid show that I went to. I am hoping that I will not be as rushed and then with not a lot of people like there was at the show I will get some better shots. Wish I could keep up with all the names but that is a little over whelming! Look forward to more of your photo work! Deb/Texas

Yes, here I am looking out of curiosity. Thank you for your response. I just thought it might be possible given your obvious love of gardening. I keep it pretty simple too, much more simple than what I see of your garden photos. I even like all those geraniums that so many seem to poo-poo and my style doesn't seem to fit the gardening trend I keep observing. All the color is good though and it makes me happy! I look forward to more of your photos. The travel photos are great too! I'm glad you made it to Yosemite, it is one of our favorite places. :) Gail

The orchids are lovely. I can't help but wonder if those in photo 12 are your contribution. The one in photo 42 is a beauty...great photo of it (they are all beautiful). I have enjoyed all your other garden/flower albums, a welcome sight on these dreary days when I look forward to the colors of summer. Thank you for sharing.
