• Hi Darlene. Just had to re-visit this album to comment on those wonderful blue poppies... I am really 'into' the colour combination of 'blue and green' at the moment and have just posted an album of those colours. I am quite excited about it, although it's not finished. Do drop by and take a peek when you have the time. Would love to hear what you think. Take care and enjoy the weekend. A big hug, Jayne xx

 • Darlene, thank you for your kind words on my skydiving clouds album (bchapen9). I just joined premium membership & am very excited about it. I was pleased to find your Longwood Gardens album. I have a Huntington Gardens album and a Botannical Gardens of Santa Barbara album (bcharpen4 or bcharpen6 I think). It's fun to compare places like this to see what they offer. Thank you for sharing this album with us.....Nancy

 • Hello Darlene! We missed it when you opened this wonderful album, probably this was just when we had our computer breakdown... But we had the nice surprise to-day to discover these fantastic gardens! Pretty tulips, great variety of orchids (my favorites: 34 and 52) and the lovely bouquet of 76 ... we can't mention all our favorites pictures... Thanks for this beautiful garden display! Have a nice weekend! Love and hugs, (Henri and) Käthi

 • Hell o Darlene. Your opening shot is SO stunning. That's a prize winning photo without a doubt. Loved many of your other shots too! The daffodils contrasted with the blue makes for a very springlike 'feel', as do the tulips. What a fabulous day out this must have been. Although we are getting occassional sunny days it is still very cold here in the Midlands. I'll be leaving for Yorkshire on Monday. Am going to visit a friend for a week. Hopefully I'll be back with some photos to post. It'll be the first time I have been anywhere with my camera this year! Hope it doesn't RAIN. Wishing you a very 'Happy Easter'. Best wishes, Jayne/West Midlands, UK :) xx

 • Glad I came over Darlene, well I could not miss a garden album! You have made a great job of showing off the flowers & that conservatory. We had a few days in London mid month in the very very cold! The one bright day we had we visited Kew gardens, not a lot of bloom outside as our spring is so late this year. Therefor I concentrated on "Flowers, Art & Achitecture" for my album. love your orchids by the way & we did have some luck that our visit coincided with 2 shows at RHS halls in central London. One being the National orchid show, scent & colour was amazing. those albums are on ericy102 if you get chance to look. Eric

 • Hi Darlene. What stunning photos of a truly beautiful place. Wonderful work on your part and the original planners didn't do so bad either! Those blue flowers (poppies etc.) are quite amazing because for some reason we don't seem to get many flowers of that colour out here. I particularly love the second photo of the building itself - the angle at which you have captured it is absolutely spot on! I'll have to send you over a packet of seeds of some Aussie flowers for you to scatter around the place next time you go there! Good on yer mate and while I'm here many thanks indeed for writing in the gb of my Kingdom of the Karri Part two album - we had a wonderful time down there and mere photos just don't do it all justice. Catch you later, hugs, Peter

 • Darlene, I'm so glad you finally made it down to Longwood. You had mentioned in a guestbook entry to me last October that you were planning a trip here. I hope it was everything you imagined it would be. Judging by your photos, you had a beautiful time! I just wish you could come back in April and see the wisteria garden in bloom!! Now that's something special. I have a couple of wisteria photos from Longwood in my Best of Longwood album. My photos are not even in the same league as yours, but they can give you an idea. If you plan on coming back this way, let me know. I'm right up the road from Longwood. Thanks for sharing your beautiful albim. Take care, Linda in Maryland
