Bonjour Sharon, orchids have always been my favorite flower and thanks to you and your amazing photography,i'm really spoiled with this beautiful album.Definitely a lot of favorites, especially your macro shots, the design of orchids being so intricate,it's nice to see them so close. Thanks for your kind words my friend,i'm keeping a very low profile this winter, having so little snow makes it impossible to have some decent winter pictures,so i'm cleaning up my albums, even taking out some of the pictures i did not think were very good in the first place, and adding a few new ones here and there,i'll be more busy as spring comes along!!Have a great week.Luc

Hi. What pleasure seeing an album like yours. It heats our heart even in the most cold Winter. I loved the flowers, all of them. I think that a person who has access to such beautiful show, is, no doubt, a privileged person. But you deserve it, because you capture so well the beauty, the fragility and the pureness that these wonderful flowers transmit. And I admire so much people who create and treat such beauty and rare plants. But I also adored "Mr. Toad's Orchid Adventure". It's so cute. I had a good laugh seeing it. Congratulations and God bless you. Rosa, in Portugal

Hi! This is the first chance I have had to view your latest album. What gorgeous orchids! Such vibrant colors. I'm sure you enjoyed being there & seeing all this beauty in person. I have one of my orchid plants sending up 2 flower shoots right now so soon I will be rewarded with some pretty flowers of my own! Keep up the good work. Hugs, Flo

Hi, what a wonderful album. Love all the shots of the orchids especially. The garden must really have expanded quite a bit from when we were there many years ago, even though it was beautiful then also. Am glad to see the changes through your camera. Thanks!! Trudy-Oregon

Hi Sharon and Bob, What a beautiful album. It is a sight for eyes sore from searching to and fro for color and life in an area that is in the midst of winter's sleep. But soon we shall wake up! :o) . You both are so blessed to have the Botanical Gardens near to you. I have thought of going to Buffalo, NY's garden for visit but it hasn't happened yet. It is about an hour or a little more away. I think you have inspired me to make the trip hehe. As usual your photos are so sharp and crisp. Colors are vibrant and rich. I agree with those who said your album should soon be featured. Among my favorites (which are all of them) are the Many Orchid Colors... photo, DSCN2482, and the Sweet Little Orchid Faces photo. As much as I love the macros, their detail and color, I am a fan of seeing them in perspective as well. Especially with the beautiful arrangements the horticulturists (is that right?) have placed throughout the Gardens. It's nice again to see your contributions to Webshots. Thank you for sharing. Lord bless you both and take care, Ray

Good morning to you Sharon! I started to run the slide show around 1:30 am and now it is 3:30 and I am still browsing around. What a treat you gave us here!! Only to write down all the difficult names of these wonderful orchids is an enormous task...for the one you can not tell you say that you will do better next time?? Well, you better do Sharon, it is not to forgive you that one name is missing!! Shame on you!!! ;-)******************** Did you notice that 28 is a perfect face and hat of a pirate? Fantastic. Then here are my favorites (they are too many but I will try): # 22, 25, 28 (the pirate) 30, 31, 39, 42, 44 and 55 which is an almost frightening face. All this saves me a trip to St. Louis and that is a saving which I owe to you Sharon and Bob. A wonderful gift and hours of joy to see all this. But please next time ALL the names OK? lol Also I thank you for visiting my birds. They appreciate it same as me. A big hug for both of you, see you when it gets featured, which has to happen soon. kathy

Dear Sharon and Bob, Thanks for bringing us the sights we cannot see or photograph unless we were to travel to St.Louis at the right time of the year! It seems to me that the orchids in this year's show are more exotic than ever - and your photography is as outstanding as always. I cannot resist uploading most into my computer - to use as wallpaper and to cheer me up with screen savers ! The show's setting is absolutely wonderful and so natural - it must have been a thrill to walk through it and capture it in such wonderful detail and with the correct names. Not to forget the little critters that look so cute in their different activities - a beautiful added touch and such a great idea! My heartfelt congratulations - I am sure this album will soon be on the winners' list. With a hug and my best wishes, bruno

Hi Sharon and Bob! Thanks for this wonderful Orchid gift that we discovered this morning! You created another great Orchid album that we will visit more than one time! Nice idea to add the funny little animal visitors on your display! I love the bright colors of #6, the amazing shape of #7, the special red of # 24, the delicate colors and form of #31, the white and yellow in #39 and the 46#: so diffrent with the green shades. Also Blue Vanda Hybrid looks quite diffrent from the other species. It's great to visit this wonderful flowers on a very cold winter day as we have just now! Thanks again! Love and hugs, Henri and Käthi

Hi Sharon and Bob...Oh these orchids are outstanding!!! I love them all. My favourite is Old South, but it is so hard to choose. There are so many that I love, especially the dark ones and the purple and white and fushia and white. I love the Toad, Rat, Mole and Badger displays. When I came on the computer tonight it showed that you had a new album, then it disappeared, and then it appeared again, but some photos were in different places. But I really love this album and I am so glad I got to see it. Your photography is wonderful too. The flowers would not look as beautiful if it wasn't. hugs and love, and been thinking of you, Barbara

Hello again Sharon, stunning photos of the orchids as usual & what variety. So many different colours & such an amusing theme to the exhibition. The No 15 is I think one we sometimes get as table decoration on cruise ships, so long lasting & a delicate form. I still think the "ladies slipper orchids" are best as they are all we could get in UK many years ago when my Mother was a florist. Eric
