Hello Susan! This album I had missed when you first posted it. The loss is entirely mine. This is a fine anthology that characterizes the various moods and hues of the lovely flowers. The clarity and the macros caught my eyes again and again. To photograph flowers is one thing, but to photograph them as you do is a different, elevating experience for the beholder. My compliments. Best, Suresh

Hello Susan, Like you, we also emigrated from Yorkshire in the 60s, but to South Africa. I have been back in the UK for three years now. Thanks for your offer of friendship - glady accepted! Best wishes, Mandy (UK)

Love 15 and 17 Brian ,gorgeous Hibiscus flowers ,lovely colourings!I hate Agapanthus so can't comment on them ,they are a noxious weed!!!! I think NZ Garden Centres are being banned from selling them any more -they spread horrifically and begin too threaten Native Flora etc -if you see another one jump on the sod and kill it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Hope you've got a sense of humour otherwise I will have hurt your feelings and I am sorry!!!!:0) Take care and be HAPPY! Warm wishes -Lynne

Hi again, Thank you for your comments on my Grand Canyon photos. It was my first and probably only time I will get to visit there and it truly is an awesome place. And it has many faces with changing light, weather, etc. I can see a dedicated photographer could spend days and days there catching different views. I like how you include some greenery with your flowers in this album. I feel it adds to the beauty of the photo. Thanks again for your note. Donna

Hi Brian, thanks for inviting me to your other website. What a treasure! I got stuck with this album, of course, flowers always through attention. Your close-ups are fantastic. I liked them in your other albums too. Your splendid Roses, the flowers of the Gum tree and precious Grevillea! It is a great pleasure to visit your albums! Have a great day! Galit from Israel

Hi, from Florida to faraway Australia, where I have a number of other good WS friends! I love flowers and this is a wonderful collection without singling out any individual one. Great color, composition and resolution! Thanks for your GB entry in Czech Castles. I am so glad you reminded me of my nasty complaint against WS years ago. I was upset about their problems at the time and never returned to restore or update my original profile. You helped me do that. With best wishes, bruno

I love flowers and taking their pictures. You have some fabulous shots here! I especially like thos spotted bell looking ones. I have some in my Disneyland album. I love looking at yours...trying to limit albums to one a day so I have something new to view. I'm honored you added me as a fav - you're the first! :) ~ Wolverina

I agree. IMG_3811 looks like an Amaryllis (which comes from South Africa), also known as the Belladonna Lily. However, it could be a Hippeastrum (from South America), which is often called an Amaryllis.
