  • I am still taking photos and I have a huge library which hopefully one day I will get a chance to look through and post. I have just been too busy to post amid all the work and remodelling going on around here for the last 2 years. I've also just recently discovered that a number of photos on the hard disk are corrupted. Almost all of them also have disk backups but those are boxed some place. Hopefully I can look for them soon. I used to also play with my photos more, but obviously that isn't happening. I also have a couple new cameras I'm working with -- one just a small Elph, though I'm finding out it's got zip for manual controls. Good point: I carry it with me. Bad point: I really hate the pictures (Maybe not hate, but there definitely isn't a lot of love). Oh well. I'm also trying out an SLR but that might be a bit too complicated for me. There's a few SLRs around here I've borrowed -- it seems I take the most photos and I'm the only one without my own personal SLR - hehe. The lenses are nice and I used to love my manual SLRs but I don't like to carry all the equipment with me -- they're really bulky. Guess that's why people have assistants. Hrm...middle ground...need middle ground...

  • I could almost smell its intoxicating fragrance as I looked at your amazing macro shots! So beautifully done and presented. Really enjoyed flipping through this simple white lily album and you did capture some wonderful shots with its petals and the light. Great job! Have a fantastic day! :)

  • Thanks for your nice words. I use a Minolta Dimage 7, which is a very nice digital camera, but there are also plenty of other nice ones out there. The trick seems to be human correction of the auto focus (keep re-focusing until it looks right) and/or manual focusing.

  • Very nice. It seems that you are very interested in flower. The pictures are very sharp with good depth of view. Can common DC reach this performance?
