These are really beautifully photographed poinsettias...and the colors are amazing, especially the lavender! Wow! I gravitate toward the plants, since I'm in the nursery business. Thanks for sharing these with all of us! Congratulations! Holly

What a gorgeous display, dear Sharon! It must have been fantastic to be there looking at 10,000 plants in such dazzling colours! I'm impressed by the way you handled the reds, which are so difficult to catch on film!Friendliest regards, Gabriela

As for being selected as featured member, I was not surprised that you were chosen since you have so many wonderful albums and the huge number of members that chose you as one of their favorites indicates that. Hello Sharon, and Bob too! I haven't seen any new albums for you lately. Have you been taking a bit of a break for the winter? it has been such a mild winter in Western NY that it doesn't even seem like we have had one. How has your winter been in St. Louis? Your album reminds me how much I miss the the colors and sights of summer. Spring isn't too far away I trust. I hope everything is well with you both. Take care and God bless, Ray

Dear Sharon, Somehow in the Christmas rush this latest new album seems to have gotten by me! A wonderful collection of Christmas flowers with your usual attention to composition and high quality photos! It was fortunate you had this photo opportunity, as this is not the best time for photo tours in the zoo or botanical gardens! But Spring is just around the corner - in about three long months or so - so hang in there! Thank you for your recent GB entries - in my latest album from Lemon Bay Park and, to my amazement, the just featured Czech castles album created in the olden days by scanning, cropping, and painfully slow uploading - the low resolution way.

Hi Sharon. Fabulous collection of Poinsettia photos! You and Bob are among my absolute favorite webshots' photographers. Your garden photos offer such a beautiful and restful respite. In fact, it was after viewing some of your albums that I 1st decided to add my photos to webshots - NOT (I stress) because I thought them at ALL comparable - but because, after enjoying your wonderful garden photos, I was motivated to share my humble backyard garden. Because I hold you in such high esteem, your recent compliment meant more to me than you could ever imagine. It was like too good to be for real. Thank You! BTW, last summer I moved up from my old 2M Kodak to an 8M Nikon. Unfortunately, since I know nothing about photography and this camera isn't point-and-shoot, for a while things got worse.lol. At least now they are starting to get in focus.;) Thank you SO much for the compliment.

Hello Sharon. Some collection of Poinsettias eh and lovely pics of this somewhat traditional Christmas plant! I thought that there was only the red variety until this Christmas when I can across pink and lemon coloured ones. You have even more shades on view here. I also called to thank you for your generous words on my Christmas feature. So sorry it's taken me SO long to get here but life was very hectic during the festive season. Better late than never. Wishing you a very happy 2006, full of joy, good health and happiness. Kind regards, Jayne/West Midlands, UK :) xx

Hi Sharon! It is always so good to hear from you! Things are going well here, but I do have to admit that I am a little homesick. I think I'm just missing my son! Our daughter is out here with us, for now, but I think she will probably return to CA before too long. I really thought they'd both be out here, but now I'm not sure. But, I do love the area & I'm sure I'll have plenty of photo ops in the Rocky Mountains! I have not learned to ski & I doubt that is in my future. I think these bones are a little too old to risk it! Maybe I'll try snowmobiling! Your pictures here are beautiful & so relaxing to browse through! I hope that you and Bob had a wonderful Christmas and that your entire New Year is filled with blessings! Lots of hugs, Lynn

Hi Sharon and Bob. This is another beautiful album of yours! I love the descriptions you have added too. Oh so many beautiful poinsettias (I think I spelled it right for once). I love all their colours and I like the deepest reds the best, but I also liked the peach ones. The photos are gorgeous and poinsettias are really a favourite plant of mine. I like the angel too and also your very nice Christmas wishes from you and Bob. I wish you both a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will be writing to you. Hello Sharon and Bob! Beautiful Poinsettias again, between the two wonderful Nativity Scene pictures, illustrating Luke 2. Such a nice Christmas message, thanks!!! The close-up shows us the "true flower" of Poinsettia, so often forgotten... It's like the true sense of Christmas that often is forgotten in all what is surrounding Christmas. Warm Holiday wishes also to you and your family! Henri and Käthi
