Lorrie, this is a beautiful to start an album with. I'll be watching for more of the same. Ohh it's 215 miles from my home to Humbird. Humbird is north west of Milwaukee, pretty much between Mineapolis and Milwaukee. I'm excited, yesterday was a nice sunny cold day just after getting only an inch or two the night before. I loaded a roll of Kodac black and white film and went out in search of?? wELL AS SOON AS IT'S DEVELOPED i'LL MAKE AN ABLUM WITH JUST THOSE. OPPS CAPS LOCK, SORRY.

The dissapointment was as great as the joyous expectation of going through a whole voluminous album of colourful flowers!!- only one pic!! You need to add two pages to atone for the sin commited!! Regards & God Bless. Sunny Bhai

Hello Lorrie, your flowers are gorgeous, and I expect there will be many additions in time. Thanks for your comments on my Uniquely Australian Fauna album featured on November 22nd. I’ve been away from home (searching for the illusive Alorsaurus Photographus, with no luck whatsoever), and this is my first opportunity to respond. Your support is appreciated; best wishes from Keith in Sydney.

Lorrie - wonderful additions to this album. I was surprised to see the pink baby bottle brushes - we seem to have only red down here in FL. Your roses are glorious and the 'Raindrops on Roses' is beautiful as is the 'Bird of Paradise'! I'm happy to see you have a little diversion from your 'caretaking' duties while there in CA. ... Be well, hugs, Judy

What a GORGEOUS photo of the Poinsettias; are they growing at your Dad's? Mine in the yard are poor this year so after Christmas maybe I will pick up some 'leftovers' and put 'em in place for next year. ... Off to bed, jc

Hi Lorrie! So, you're enjoying the everblooming season in California? I miss that!!! I am thoroughly enjoying my new CO scenery, but it will be a number of months before I see flowers growing outside! So, I went out & bought a couple of wildflower hike books & am reading up for spring! You asked about my camera...I use a Nikon D70. I bought it last June for my Colorado vacation. It's worth it's weight in gold - I love it!! Thanks for visiting my albums & for leaving the sweet notes! I hope that you and your family are doing well and that you have a wonderful New Year. Enjoy the California sunshine (although I hear there's rain in the forecast!) Take care, Lynn

Hi Lorrie, thanks for your many wonderful messages. I enjoy them very much. I had no time to answer my messages and so there were less and less - and yours, as always. You do not have to worry about me, but I is nice to know you do. :-) Thanks for your wishes to the brand new Year. Peace would be nice, even a little bit. Your flowers are gorgeous. I like the Lily of the Nile. I know for it a different name, but like your name more. I found some, then in May when I was looking for objects for that baby-boy-blue-album. Your roses are exquisite - while ours now drowned in the rain. The December Iris has such a intense color and that baby bottle brush has an unusual pink flower. I have never seen one of those. The palm trunk looks very beautiful. You see a lot of things a lot of people wouldn't notice. Lorrie my dear, take care and I wish you the very best for the New Year. Good health and a lot of love and even more new pictures on your sites. Have a wonderful day, month, year, life :-) Galit from Israel

Hi Lorrie Really love your latest azalea... can't wait till mine start blooming. Also I enlarged that yellow flower (the nameless one at the end) I see it is a ALSTROEMERIA.They are really beautiful flowers(start as bulbs)are in the lily family & come from South America! How neat to see Josie frolicking at the ocean too.Adorable... they love to run free don't they? She looked sooooo happy. Talk to you later...Kathryn

This latest addition of the red azalea is wonderful; I have trouble with closeups of red flowers and I don't know why. Your's is sho sharp and clear. Our azaleas should start blooming by the end of February here. Tonight a cold 'snap' and we're off to take our Russian student to the airport in the morning; she'll feel a bit closer to home if it's cold! ... Hugs, Judy

Lorrie, you're a doll! Thanks for writing in all my guest books lately - very much appreciated. The little girl by the pool is our daughter, who is now 42!! LOL And as for the roses well I just go bananas with my camera every time a new flower appears, even though I've probably already got about a hundred pics of the self same flower. Oh well, all good fun! By the way I was admiring your poinsettia in this album - out here they are also a winter growing flower and a real picture. Love and hugs, Peter

Hello Lorrie, Thankyou so kindly for you nice words you said in the Grandchildren's album 5. You are so right about Emma, she can be a bit of an handful at times. Danielle is the placid one. the twins are wonderful, they only cry if Hungry, Tied, or Wind. We to think we are Blessed with all of them. Thankyou again. Ray and Eileen. (UK)

Hello Lorrie, the rose in the cover picture draw my attention to this album. I adore this wonderful capture. The color of the rose is so beautiful and the raindrops make a wonderful sparkling decoration! -- Thank you for your nice message in the messageboards of my last album. You asked about the age of the olive tree. I don't know, but it could be easily a hundred years. There are Olive trees on Mount Olive in Jerusalem which assumed to go back to the time of Jesus. The tree in the picture was transferred to the new place to be a suitable and romantic background for wedding pictures. :-) - - Lorrie I hope you and Jayne have a wonderful time together. Take care! - Galit
