I'm glad you like my roses. You might want to call Walmart ahead of time to be sure they hold a Golden Age for you. Good luck.

I'm a real sucker for red roses and 90-81-2 looks really great. I'm definitely going to be waiting at Wal Mart next spring for Golden Age as I want to get it as it gets taken off the truck.

Hey SuzyQ, I added one picture of the climber that shows a close up of one of it's blooms and I added another picture of 89-39-28 which shows it's color range when shaded, as an apricot blend. 89-39-28 won the Best New Seedling class at the Boston National Convention of the American Rose Society in 1992.

WOW! SuzyQ I love all of your comments and questions. Let me try to answer them in order. 89-39-37 is a pastel yellow hybrid tea that holds a yellow center while the outer petals turn white as it ages. I attempted to register it as Heart of Gold but the name was already taken. It's an excellent exhibition rose and is a sister seedling to Golden Age. 89-39-28 is another sister seedling of Golden Age. It ranges in color from cream to yellow to appricot depending on your micro climate. It is also a Hybrid Tea. Yes, Aunt Gerry is being sold by Wisconsin Roses. It is a sport of Lanvin. As such, I didn't have anything to do with it other than finding it. It's not a product of my breeding program but it is yellow... LOL. 91-78-20 does not have enough petals to be a good show rose but I love the coloration. Commercial nurseries are not really interested in another pink rose but to me this one is special. I haven't decided what to do with it yet. 93-123-1 is a thrid generation seedling of mine with 89-39-37 in it's heritage. It is also a Hybrid Tea with nice exhibition form. It is very sensitive to the sun and can have outstanding coloration. I'm glad you like the Climber! Even though I live in IL this bush reached the height of my 2nd floor bedroom one year. Very floriferous each bloom has exhibition form. This plant was sent to Fred Edmunds Nursery, an excellent source of new varieties, in the early 1990's for possible introdution but nothing ever came of it. I will add some more pictures of it to my seedling album. Glad you like it. Respond, aka 91-91-1, is another product of my breeding program out of Sheer Elagnace and a seedling of mine. Petal count ranges from 24 to 28 in the summer and 28 to 32 in the Fall. It too is a Hybrid Tea. In 1995 it was sent to Weeks Nursery, a nursery that has helped many amateur hybridizers introduce their roses, but nothing ever came of it. Hollywood Star is an interesting rose. In the hands of an experienced exhibitor it can be outstanding. All of the pictures shown here were taken this year, one of the hottest years on record for Chicago. Heat, was not a problem for this rose. None of the seedlings in the seedling album are currently scheduled for release. As you know it takes years to develop "commercial quanties" once the decision has been made to introduce a rose. I currently have 8 roses in production and scheduled for introduction at roughly two a year. Hollywood Star and Golden Age were my first two releases. As the final decision for next years releases approaches I have prepared photo's that will be shown here. I hope you enjoy them and thank you again for you comments and interest in my roses. All of my roses are currently being introduced by Certified Roses, Inc., a nursery that had faith in me and has supported me throughout my hybridizing career.

I like 89-39-37 How ever what color is it? Gosh this pic at least reminds me of White Masterpiece. What kind of rose is it? not stingy in bloom is it? very Lovely! 89-39-28 The Form is just Outstanding on this rose! What kind of rose is this? Aunt Gerry is being sold already right? or at least it was last year, I,ve seen this rose. 91-78-20 Reminds me of SE.I like it! 93-123-1 The form on this one is also outstanding and the blend what kind of rose is it? Climber- Like it would like to see more pics. Respond-I love the look of this one, very striking but I'm wondering how many petals it has? and what kind of rose it is? Also Hollywood star looks absoutly awsome! How well does it do in the heat? SuzyQ (RC)

No, this is a Hybrid Tea with long stems and one white single bloom. Another Hybrid Tea single of mine is Red, 89-63-1, although this is not a very good picture of it.
