Hi from St. Charles...Thanks for getting back to me. Whenever the weather starts getting to us, we head to Shaw's Gardens and then we forget our troubles. I love your new Cactus, especially "The Old Man." What a fitting name for that one. Thanks for sharing. Sharon
O. "Santa Rita" is synonymous with "Purple Prickly Pear" (O. violacea) ... so I don't think this is it ... pads are shaped differently (not a MAJOR issue) and there's no sign of even a purplish hue.
