Hiya! Your Echinofossulocactus coptonogonus really really looks like a Ferocactus latispinus. I have a pic of one I can send you that is absolutely identical to your plant. The E copnogonus, same as Stenocactus copnogonus, has only 5 ribs, all of which are a flat grey colour. Also usually more spines. Anyway, whatever it is, it's a great looking plant, I've been searching for one for ages!! Regards, Lis :)

Got here via Cacti Gallery. I enjoyed your collection. My brother-in-law has a huge collection of cacti (I prefer to use the word cactuses) but in our climate you need plenty of winter and summer protection so I grow houseleeks instead.
