  • Beautiful Gardens and Beautiful Additions Luc, these are really Gorgeous and so is your eye for capturing their Beauty my friend!! Thanks for your kind comments in my recent guestbook...No, I do not find the battery grip heavy At All!! I had one on the DRebel from day one, and now one on the 30D..wouldn't be shooting with out it!!! I love the additional gripping area and ergonomic stability, especially shooting hand held with the 100-400 (3lbs of lens)! It makes the body "feel" right, but you need to make a trip to your local dealer and try one out to really understand its benefits!! Thanks again Luc for sharing the Une Oasis dans la ville with us!! GB, Ted

  • Hi Luc: Happy Easter! This is a beautiful album. What a gorgeous Botanical Garden. I can't believe I missed seeing this album before. If I visit Montreal , I will certainly put this Garden on my must see list. It is Easter morning here now. It's raining and ocassionally hailing in Coquitlam. I thought I would look for some Easter beauty, by going to webshots. This album really gave me what I was looking for. Thank you for creating and sharing! Blessings from Sandie/B.C.

  • Hi Luc...I love the Perennial garden, especially the pathway through the arbour of plants. You have a beautiful shot of the pink flower with the bee. The Garden of Innovations is wonderful. I like #5 with the benches and rest area. The wishing well is really nice too. An interesting man made of pots! The stain glass window is beautiful in the garden. They are all nice photos. I like the fountain, the ponds, especially with the pond flowers, the little duck. The First Nations Garden too is beautiful. A lovely tribute to them. The Flowery Brook garden is all so beautiful. I love the Japanese Garden very much. All of the shots are beautiful and I like the bridge and the water lilies. The rose garden is beautiful and I like the shot with the bench. The flowers in the marsh and bog are wonderful. Those are favourites of mine. The Chinese Garden is also wonderful and my favourite shot there is #6. The ALpine garden has beautiful waterfalls. This is really a wonderful way to display gardens at the botanical garden. ANd, I like how you kept them in their categories. I am making a new card album and I wondered if you would allow me to use a couple of your photos for cards. If not I understand. hugs, Barbara

  • Dear Luc-how very beautiful these gardens are -your photography is always truely wonderful and every photo is a gem -such a treat to be able to stroll along with you and soak up the glorious surroundings-thankyou so very much for the enriching experiance.Thankyou also for your warmly welcomed and appreciated message this morning -if you care to look I have dedicated 'Dreamy' to you dear friend -it was a real favourite of mine too.I love to make the flowers almost out of focus slightly so they are really mellow and romantic and soft looking -I don't like to do it too much as I worry that people think my shots are terrible!!!!!!But being an original thinker and not one to follow the crowd I sneak a few in now and again as they are my prefered stage for the femmininity of the flower!Anyway in short -hope you like it :o))))))LOL!!!!!!Bye for now Lynne

  • Bonjour, cher Luc! I took a walk through your gardens and it felt good to have such variety around! Le Jardin de Metis IS a wonderful place to be!How quiet! Nobody around? Then the other plants and flowering bushes, they all look so natural as if nobody had planted them - just growing from the richness of the soil! Beautiful!!! My latest is a different stuff. If you are interested in Japanese art and architecture (new and old), please come and have a look! It is a medley of Nikon and Canon shots, but most of them have been taken by my husband with his Nikon. Friendly regards from Gabriela & Yoshiyuki Tanaka

  • Hi Luc! Thanks for the congratulations on my featured album today. I don't think I've ever heard of the Missouri Botanical Gardens referred to as The Garden of Eden, but Bob and I did see a snake out there this year. I even took a picture of it as it slithered along, but I don't think I'll ever include it in my albums. :-))) We had some major storms go through Missouri this spring and several huge trees fell in the gardens, plus lots of hail damage, but they always make everything look like nothing has happened there!!! Lots of employees and volunteers. I'd love to volunteer there, but since it's a 45 minute drive over there and back, it's not conveniently close for us retired folks. :-))) I love your album of these beautiful gardens. It's always so fascinating to see all the different gardens of the world. Have a great weekend. Sharon

  • Hi, Luc...Thanks for your kind comments on my featured album. I was really quite surprised this morning to find a rose album featured when it is Christmas Eve. I was hoping someone would get a winter or holiday album featured, but I can't figure out their system of picking so will just feel fortunate to hear from my Webshots friends. This way I can wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year again. I love this album of Gardens and More. The photos are all beautiful and I really couldn't pick a favorite. All your photos are exquisite with great composition and you have a great eye for capturing the perfect photo. Thanks again for sharing and Bob sends his best wishes also. Sharon
