Beautiful Butchart Garden - Vancouver Island

Dear Mary! Fanatastic shots of the gorgeous gardens..love them all. Brings back memories a wonderful day in paridise . It was very special to go there with you and really enjoyed the time together as so miles keep us apart.But it's fun to keep in touch through all the pictures and emails and Webshots! Dear Mary, Butchart Garden is my favourite among favourites!!! I've never seen it with my own eyes, but I feel I already know it just by having looked at so many photos of it. Your shots are beautiful, but....my opinion is that the framing is killing the beauty of the shots!!! I believe that framing works at times - like in your albums with macro portraits of flowers, but when it comes to vistas....landscapes ask for freedom without margins. Thank you for the great photos. My wife and I went to Butchart Gardens on our honeymoon three years ago. We spent two days in Victoria and ten days on the Olympic Pennisular. Thanks for sharing and check out our photographs also

Hi Mary, Your photos of Butchart showed me what I missed on my cruise stop, which was much too short timewise. Now I feel like I was there all day last June taking in the beautiful sections through your brilliant colors. Thanks for sharing such an enchanting place.
