My dear friend Bernard, Thanks for telling me the name of these flowers. I felt more comfortable to upload one more of this flower image to my favor album “Attractive Flowers”. A link for that photo is attached below. Best regards from Ru, Vancouver Island. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2097687660082868142hhmLyQ

Hello Bernard, Wonderful album of Ranunculus Lyalii!, I am one of Blentrol's "Essie Summers" group and have been to your beautiful country, in 1996. I tried to get some photos of the flowers growing just by the Homer Tunnel, but they didn't come out. I wonder if you have any photos of them there? Carol

Hello Bernard, I finally get the chance to do a slide show of your lilies. What a treat! I don't think I can make up my mind on which perspective I like best... you have done a great job in every photograph and I certainly enjoyed them all! Greetings from Canada, Marta

Hi Bernard, Thank you very much for sharing these exquisite pictures. I am just about to download them all to my desktop. Thank you also for your kind comment in my "West Over Sea" album. It is composed of pictures taken by my son, David, son-in-law, Derren, and granddaughter, April. I merely edited them and uploaded them. We have just come back from a week's holiday in the Western Isles, but we never got anywhere near a beach! It poured with rain virtually the whole time. I managed to take quite a number of photos, but they were disappointing due to the overcast skies on most of them. When we got a brief window of dry weather, we rushed out and forgot to put on insect repellent with the result that we were badly bitten by midgies when taking photos of the marina at Stornoway. I have uploaded most of my photos, but would have concentrated on beaches and seascapes, if the weather had been better. I will come back and view your other albums later, as we are about to go on holiday for another week. Hopefully the rain will not follow us this time! Best wishes from England. Kathryn
