Webshots Family, I started off yesterday sitting here at the comp crying after reading the news of MsDek, news, that was not what I expected to be the outcome from all of this. Dear Pud, you did a wonderful thing creating this album, gathering so many proofs of love and care from so many different people on Webshots for our dear MsDaisy!!! I'm deeply saddened, as all of you are, by the loss of our Ms Daisy. I thought many of you would appreciate knowing I received a phone call from Daisy's daughter-in-law, Amy (the wife of msdek's son Bob)this morning at my residence in Connecticut. She informed me that Daisy p####ed peacefully, surrounded by her family. She also re####ured me that Bob is doing well and will remain with their daughter in Tennessee for a while longer. He then plans to return to their home, which by the Grace Of God was barely damaged except for some minor roof damage caused by a tree falling. You will also be pleased to know that her pets survived the hurricane and are now dispersed throughout various animal shelters and with friends until such time as Bob returns to claim them and take them home. Although it is a sad day finding out that Daisy will not be rejoining her immediate family...nor her "family" here at WS, I take comfort in the fact that she did not suffer and that ALL of her close family members survived the disaster with their health and homes intact. May God Bless these wonderful people and give them comfort during their time of great loss. Char

Just checking in to see how the album is progressing. Some really beautiful photos that these WS users have contributed in honor of MS Daisy! I'd like to say a few words about...and to...the lady responsible for this whole project, Ms Michele, herself. I didn't know Michele before these tragic events began and most probably would never have known her had it not been for these unfortunate circumstances. As sad as that is, it's a simple fact. She doesn't post on the message boards where I sometimes hang out and where I met Daisy (msdek). Actually, she doesn't know where the message boards are, or even how to find them!(*; But that's a whole other story! Her photos are lovely and I HAVE posted comments in her guest books about her beautiful photos of the Great Smokey Mountains, but I would never have entertained a thought about getting to know her. It's a regrettable part of life, but it's all too true that many times it takes a tragedy of immense proportions to bring people together. I've always treated the Internet as a remote and impersonal way to view the immense and sometimes daunting world of Cyber Space..Never dreaming or even wanting to ever make any lasting friendships in the vast network of the Internet. Now, I've met three very dear, unique and truly unforgettable individuals...Ms Daisy, Michelle (and if the third person is reading this, she KNOWS who she is!) who I sincerely hope will continue to share a part of my life on some level and to some degree...no matter how small or large that level may prove to be!
