    • Gosh! Thankyou John...Sometimes the shortest exclamations are the most flattering and from the heart! I appreciate that. Take care. Your birdhouses are still awesome! Sincerely April in Oregon

    • I'm back again, again and again. I am in awe each and every time I come back to look at these houses. Truly magnificent. I like to have one of each and every one of these houses. But too many cats (don't want to lead the birds to slaughter). Hey! Turn one into a cat house.

    • Thank you everyone for all the very nice comments. The post i use for these birdhouses are from a large spruce tree that got hit by lightning. I only use dead or fallen trees. I also use floor beams out of old barns.

    • Thank you clover. I have sent a few of my smaller houses to the states. I am also going to be selling patterns of some of them on line. My son just completed a design and he is going to sell patterns on EBay

    • Hi, John. Silas invited me to check out your birdhouses. Well, I`m just in awe of your work and talent. The birdhouses are amazing! I also like your wishing wells, as I`ve been wanting to purchase one for my front yard for quiete some time. I haven`t liked what I`ve seen around my area, but I like your creations. Wish you lived closer. Do you have a business Website? Just curious. Anyway, it was a pleasure to view your photos and artistic creations. Joan, Long Island, NY

    • Hi. I am a retired nurse and writer. I got a link to your webshots page. I had to tell you how much I loved seeing the bird homes there. Wish I or my hubby could make such houses, or even afford to buy them. He hasn't worked with his shopsmith for years since having a heart attack in 2000 and being put on a 'blood thiner'. We both love birds. We don't have an acre or so to watch them on, but they do come into our city lot yard and small garden sometimes. We have the usual hummingbird feeder and love seeing them hum in and out. You've done a wonderful job. Keep up the good work. You do bring joy with these pictures. Thanks. Oh yes, I wanted to envite you to see my inspirational web sites, beginning at: http://www.geocities.com/wordpaintersvs/. God bless you and yours. Vickey Stamps

    • Hi John - don't know why I have never heard of you before! - had to find you on T2T in HGTV - we have old farm buildings that are ready to demolish - any chance you might be interested in building bird houses as replicas of them for us? this is an old family farm and it would be a great keepsake - just an idea - thanks for your time - love all your work!!!
