Hello from the United States,Signe. I have been admiring your handicrafts, especially the leather bags. As an architect who loves all things Scandinavian, I find your work very creative and beautiful. I have a number of photographs of Norwegian Stave Churches and log lofts in my Webshots albums that you might enjoy. I invite you to have a look. Thanks for sharing your great talent with all of us. Bill Cable (heyburn3) in Ann arbor, Michigan, USA.

Enjoyed viewing your crafts. Your slippers look wonderfully soft and warm. I would love to have a pair. If you sell to the USA send an email to helennoel@verizon.net. Thanks

Hi Signe, You have a name which is commin in Norway. I have made the patterns for the handbags myself, but they are based on older bags. Sorry I cannot date them. The sewing bag is made after a pattern from thr South Sami area in Norway and Sweden. The lining is cotton. Often they did not use lining. But the place for the needles are wool. The opening is ca. 20 cm and its ca.15 cm deep. Most of my bags are handsewed, and I prepare the hide myself. The pewter embroidery are thin pewter teisted around thread, and then appliqed on wool. Regards from Britt.

Hello, I have been admiring the leather bags and other things you make. I have a lot of questions I would like to ask you about these items. I wonder if these bags are based on traditional designs of the Sami people, and if so, if you can date the styles at all. I am also curious about their size, for example, the sewing bag. Another question is if the red lining is made of wool felt. I assume these things are hand sewn out of reindeer hide - is that correct? Finally, you speak about the embellishment as being "pewter.&quo t; These appear to be beads, is that so? Any information you can give me in response would be appreciated. Thanks. Signe
