The USS Gambier Bay model is very interesting. The battle off Samar and Taffy Three is, in my estimation, one of the most famous naval battles of WW II. My DVD of the Leyte Invasion covers it, also the book "Little Giants" gives a very great account of this battle and the heroic actions of The sailors and airmen. My album Escort Carriers in action is a tribute to them from one who was there serving on the USS Sargent Bay CVE 83. May they never be forgotten.
