Hi Eric - what beautiful fields of flowers. I especially like the poppies and the lavender. I saw both types of fields in france this year, but not nearly as colorful as these. Thanks for your kind comments in my Kyoto album. It is, indeed, a fascinating and beautiful place. The gardens are unbelievable, and although it rained a bit (I developed a new skill for handling an umbrella and a camera at the same time), that made the gardens all the more lush and green. Enjoy your trip there! Greetings from Chicago, Marisa

Hi Eric! Love your new additions. It's amazing to be how those sunflowers can all keep standing there holding their gorgeous heads up. But the birds are very grateful for all that seed. How's Grandpa and Grandma doing? :-) Have a wonderful week. Sharon

Hi Eric! CONGRATULATIONS on your new grandson! He was a big boy! Hope Mom and baby are still doing great. Our little grandson is doing fine--just enjoying eating and sleeping. :-) This album is stunning! I'm going to have to pick some favorite photos; I don't think I've ever seen so many flowers in fields such as these! Gorgeous! Thanks for the kind comments on my featured album from yesterday of the Butterflies for Irma. Don't spoil the grandbaby too much! Yeah right!! LOL Have a wonderful weekend. Sharon

My dear Friend, I came again to see what you have added at this album! The fields are rare presents Nature makes to us. I downloaded one lavender field and one sunflower field for my screen. Thank you for letting us enjoy so much beauty! Friendliest regards from Gabriela

Dear Eric, Where do I start ? You have captured so many different fields here and each one pictured so well I know its not as easy as it seems to get everything focused well. Of course the poppy's and Lavenders are so impresssive on mass but your pictures show so many more. Thank you I have really enjoyed looking throught the whole album. Take care now, Jill

P.S. Our wild flowers this year were actually really sparse, due to the horrible drought conditions that have plagued us all year, so I appreciated every little patch. Thanks for visiting the album and your kind comments!

Hello, Eric, I almost envy your having all these colorful carpets of flowers so close to your home base in the UK. Wonderful photography - I enjoyed the slide show. I viewed some of your other albums and see you are no strangers to the US! Thanks for your comments in my guest book of Huntington Library Gardens - hope some day you will be able to return there, just as I hope to do the same. Cheers, bruno

Hello Eric, A delightful album of fields of flowers, every picture is spectacular in color and composition! The poppy and the lavender fields are awesome, and so are the sunflowers! And the daffodils, and the roses, and the "set aside", and every shot is a pure joy to look at! It is a "must be featured album," with fantastic screensavers! The lilies are stunning, and the linseed... Oh WOW! They're all favorites, Congratulations! Superb, absolutely, superb! Thanks for writing me, I'm posting less at Webshots these days, since I've reached my limit, and I'll be soon deleting older albums. My best regards, and I'm looking forward to seeing this masterpiece featured, Ina

Hi Eric. Wonderful view of fields of flowers. I'm amazed out how many you were able to find. Thanks for the kind comments about my photos on my "yard". Around here I would feel a little presumptious using the term "gardens". (That's some place kinda enclosed and really well done!)

Hi Eric, thanks for the W/S entry. Your photos are fantastic. Wonderful. About me having a new site, i had the same trouble, I wanted viking154. The name was taken so they say, I could not find anyone with that User Name. So they gave me all these options and I got this one. I did not have trouble with my CC card. I know it's not much help. sorry about that Eric. Best wishes. Ray. (UK)

Hello Eric, when I was a child (a very long time ago) I read a poem that said (all that I remember) "Divide thy wealth; spend part to eat and with another buy Hyacinths to feed thy soul". You photographs impressed me so I remembered that admonition. Thanks for sharing. Thanks also for you kind words to 2 of my albums: "Balloon04" and "Botanical". Ed/Albuquerque

Hi, Eric! Great album, and nice idea for such an album. I like your captions too. Nice fields fhotos of poppies and lavender, but I like the best Sunflover2. Thanks for your kind comment on my latest album. I think you'll get nice weather in Dubrovnik. October is nice time in Dalmatia, warm, sunny but not hot, nice for stroling about a country. Hi Eric: indeed, we look to have very similar preferences (except we, we are too old by now for snorkeling, a pity...). Marvelous pictures in this album - such a variety of plants/flowers, so immense fields - its overwhelming! - Thank you for your kind remarks yesterday in our "Pyrenees..." album! Great album, Eric. So lovely and beautiful these coloured flower fields. Like the poppy fields with and without wild flowers, the lavender fields and the 2 last pictures with sunflowers. Thanks for your advice on the clematis. Yesterday I put the first one in the frontyard to mingle with 2 of my bushes (I put them in the middle of them, hopefully it grows both sides). Thanks also for your nice comments on the Raindrop Fascination album and the Iceland albums. Have a nice weekend, Els (wely246/evanwely)

Hi Eric! This is "Gardener's Paradise"! I love the intense colours of the Lavender, Poppy and Lilly Fields. The fields of Roses are awesome too, until I thought about trying to squeeze between them to prune! Great work with your camera! Thankyou for your message and I must admit that I had never thought about a floatation vest (knowing my luck I would end up in the middle of the Indian Ocean)! My Coral Bay and Ningaloo shots are under this username in Perth/Pilbara 2004. Best wishes.. Gladys.

Hello Eric! What a wonderful album! Your captures of the poppy and lavender fields are almost unbelievably beautiful! To answer your question, Yes, there is a Joe -- we share 50/50 -- He drives & carries the camera bag (and takes an occasional shot!) and I take lots of photos & do the computer entry! That sounds fair, doesn't it? Got to now -- caught a glimpse of your underwater albums & want to take a closer look! Thanks for the visit! Jayne from Arkansas

Hi Eric. Gorgeous shot of the poppy field. I never knew Norfolk was famous for Lavender. That's something new I've learnt. I thought I had to go to France to see Lavender fields like this. Fantastic photos. Great album. I am impressed. Hope you are well. This time next week I'll be in Italy. Staying with friends in Rome and outside at the coast in Ostia. I'll be there 3 weeks. Finish at school tomorrow, then it's counting down the days. Shall try and view some of your Navada albums at the weekend. Bye for now. Jayne xx

Eric-Thank you for your comments in myGB for "The Golden Light".They are much appreciated-I'm glad you liked the photos! I DO get up early--have to go to the barn to attend my horse. So it is often the best time to catch that rare light! These pics are gorgeous! I think one would become intoxicatedby the scent! Especially the hyacinth & Lavendar! The flower in # 20( willow herb) we call Fireweed over here,as it is usually the first plant to come back after a forest fire!--Nancy.

Hi Eric, I think that after your selling Norfolk to the world you can certainly say that you are a real Norfolk person not prehaps got the Accent but you certainly deserve it. Takes a lot of time and effort to put together an album like this. These fields are there full of colour one minuet and gone the next as with the linseed. Potatoe flowers are beautiful close up as is the rape, all in all a thouroughly good job, I for one congratulate you and will keep my fingers crossed for better things, take care Ken
