Hi Sharon, You have quite a marvelous collection of lilies yourself! Like you, lilies are my favorite flower. How wonderful it is that you're surrounded by so much beauty. I was particularly interested in the yarrow plant that appeared among your lily patch - have you ever heard the rumor (old wives tale, no doubt) that drinking tea made from the leaves of the yarrow plant will cause a spontaneous miscarriage? I used to hear that all the time when I was growing up in the WV hills. Best regards from your friend Kat in Pennsylvania

Hello Sharon, this is a wonderful album delving into the beautiful colour varieties of Daylilies and I am sure that some of them have the most divine fragrance. The burgandy, and bright orange coloured ones tend to appeal to me the most as they are a wonderful contrast to the vibrant green surrounding. Terrific album and the full spectrum of colour just burst beautifully onto the computer screen, many thanks for sharing and warm wishes and smiles, amy

Sharon, I didn't realize there were so many varieties of Daylily! They are beautiful and you've done a great job of photographing them. I'm sorry to say that I am more of a photographer than a gardener. I love flowers but my husband says I plant flowers just so I can photograph them. I know the names of the flowers but not the variety - sort of like "a rose is a rose" thing. But, that doesn't keep me from admiring them. And, you're right, my Mom is the real gardener in the family. It has been her passion since she was a child. Thanks for visiting...I always love hearing from other Webshots members. Connie

Hello Sharon! Thanks for your nice messages in our Mme Mir album! You write that you love flowers! It's what we discover in your wonderful albums! What a great variety of Lilies in this garden! We had a delicious slideshow! Beautiful color in Red Volunteers, delicate orange in Honor Bom, so special colors in Bengal Bay and Tuscawilla Tigress etc... Also the nice Secondhand Roses are from our favorites. Is that their real name or did you give this name? Have a nice weekend! Best wishes, Henri and Kaethi

Dear Shahron, this album will soon be FEATURED!!!!! and then you will be absolute queen of flowers.I have been featured two times but not really whit the album I really would love to be: my "exquisite Roses" who knows how they do it and why. My Rose album without beeing featured has almost 50 thousand views and 6 thousand downloads, and that makes me happy. Thank you for your lovely words about them, yes Double Delight is just a fabulous variety...I love it with all my heart. As I said this album soon will be featured. I love the leading photo, and # 22, are my favorites, followed by all the incredible beauties... I have to say that the lady who made this wonderful garden should be also featured.. I send you my best wishes and keep us delighted with your wonderful photography and garden...Lots of love/kathy in California.

Dear Sharon, I had no idea that there are so many kinds of lilies. I like the coolness of the Frosted Mint and the drama of the Ruby Spider! What a pity that you did not take more shots!!! Anyway, the album is lovely! Greetings from Gabriela
