Thankyou for your your comments in my GB walk on an uninhabited beach ... such differnet colours to your part of the world. This album certainly does have a unique Mediterranian colour and 'taste' to it. Lovely clear, vibrant and focused images. I can almost 'smell' the freshness. Hi Maurizio. I found your photos through a guestbook entry in torretab's albums. Your photos are beautiful. Mediterranea Cooking is especially nice when you're hungry. Someone sure knows how to cook. Hello Maurizio, this is not my first visit to this album, but every time I look at these pictures I am enjoying myself again. The prosciutto (9) looks so tasty as does all the other ingredients in your pictures. The dishes you photographed are also excellent of colour. As are the pictures Sausage to the fire (33) and Meat to the fire (35). The pictures Mix_Sicilia1 and 2 are also very nice, it looks all so yummie. Hello Maurizio, My good natured friend with the great sense of humor! All of these photo's are just perfect! The colors and the glistening of the olive oil is amazing. This album makes me very hungry, and I just want to run out and get some Italian food. I am sure there is no comparison in the USA to your wonderful authentic foods of Italy but we just don't know any better so our American style Italian food is still quite good to us. Ohhh I like this album! The fruit reminds me of the open fruit stands in the markets and along the streets. The best was the coconut when I was in Venice and Rome! Provo sempre una certa difficoltà a commentare i tuoi scatti, data la soggezione che provo nei tuoi confronti (sai un po’ come tra maestro ed allievo). Ti confesso che, scrivendoti ad un’ora vicina al pranzo domenicale, guardando le tue meravigliose foto, i miei succhi gastrici stanno facendo la rivoluzione. Nel senso che ogni tua foto, in particolare quelle dei nostri amati cibi mediterranei che tutto il mondo ci invidia e cerca di imitare, è talmente suggestiva ed evocativa che, ti giuro, sento il profumo del cibo riprodotto e la sensazione di fame prende il sopravvento. Credo che per un fotografo suscitare simili sentimenti possa rappresentare una gran bella soddisfazione. Qui siamo di fronte ad un equilibratissimo mix di cultura, arte, tecnica, sensibilità e voglia di trasmettere tutto questo agli altri. Complimenti ancora, anche se, dato il livello dei tuoi lavori, ormai le lodi si sprecano da tutto il mondo. Continuo ad imparare da te e per il momento ti saluto perché mia moglie mi sta chiamando per il pranzo. hello maurizio it is so nice to see someone who obviously cares enough about what they eat to present it so beautifully. i was fortunate enough to visit italia - 3 years ago - a whirlwind tour of mainly tuscan cities - including , firenze, siena , pisa , genoa , milano and roma we toured mainly by train and loved every moment . being a scot, i am accustomed to beautiful scenery , but tuscany stole my heart one event i recall with great delight was a visit to the oriental market in genoa - a riot of colours, scents and sounds - vast stalls of prosciutto e formaggi , pesci e funghi .......pane e caffe..... we returned home laden down with parmigiano reggiano , dolcelatte and ricotta , olive pane , and the most delicious prosciutto and parma hams unforgettable - and you bring it to life so well . thank you i share a community paage with my daughter rachel - you may like to see her work , please visit.... take care and good fortune to you

Very happy you visited my albums. Nice to be back here looking your photoes. Have visited here for new photoes many times, but funny I have not seen this album before. Made me really hungry. "tomato_basilico " and all the others are a nice italian way of coockery. Thank you for sharing this very typical italian way of life and all the best. Maurizio! Thank you for your friendly comment on my pictures. When looking at yours, it struck me that you and I had about the same idea. Look at my pictures in the album called Close up. Though I include also pictures not concerning food. And I try to disguise in fact the food by cropping the pictures to more or less abstract compositions. Ti ringrazio tanto per i tuoi complimenti.
