Hi Helen, Thanks for sharing you photo experience with me. I agree with you that in general they seem slightly dark. Did you have a filter mounted on you lens? Great composition on all, ROT & DOF excellent. If you didn't use your polorizer filter on the ducks in the water, you should have. It would reduce the the hot spots and glare on the water plus it might have had a favorable effect on the ducks too. All in all, Great job. hb
