    • Dear Yoshiyuki and Gabriella; What a nice treat to enjoy your shots of the outstanding Japanese Garden. It is among my favorite garden forms for nearly my whole life. My back yard now I am trying to turn into a Japanese Garden. I have a dry riverbed that ambles across the width of my property here. I also have a small Japanese Redleaf Maple, a Coral Bark Maple, a Katsura tree with it's lovely heart-shaped leaves and about 5 varieties of Bamboo. Some in pots and others in the soil. I have a Japanese Snow Lantern and several varieties of grasses. I also go to visit Japanese gardens whenever I have a chance to take pictures. I have a rather large album of Japanese gardens and Bonsai trees. I have always loved the thoughtful arrangement of componants in a Japanese Garden and how they look to beautiful no matter the time of the year. You have captured this so very well. Thank you so much for sharing a most outstanding album. Best Wishes, Marjie/Olympia,WA

    • Hi, thank you for this peaceful album. I loved all the small pine trees. #25 very beautiful. Interesting to see this garden, the creeks are lovely, too, and the roof architecture. Regards from Finland, Merike

    • Hello Yoshiyuki, there is one thought deep in my mind which I want to specially share with you. You and I, we surely aware that both our governments are in controversy about our past history and the past wars. My thought is, who is right or who is wrong, it's truly a matter of timing, a matter of conincidence, and is truly a game of the politicians. I also feel deep sorrow for our country killing our own people in our civil wars and turmiols! Who will speak for the deaths? Sorry for my expression! I come to this album to have this expression because your photos remind me that both our nations have a lot of similarities in our living and culture in the long history. Why can't we get closer to empower the best of our Eastern culture and ideas! Thank you dear friend ... the Bell Tower, the gates, the architecture ... all are so familiar. Thank you for enjoying my B&Ws. Warmest regards to you and Gabriela! CS :-)

    • Hello Yoshiyuki, My compliments for this very beautiful, entertaining and educating album. Very interesting to see what a classical Tokyo landscape garden has to offer. Not only the photos are magnificent, the remarks you added were worthwhile as well. Thanks for your friendly words at my Dutch castle album. Greetings, Tjebbe

    • Hi Yashiyuki. I'd never saw Japanese gardens untill we went away last year and visited the gardens at Cowra. They are beautiful and I've been hooked ever since. I have dozens of favorites in here and your cover shot is one of them. Apart from the photos of the Koi carp I've jotted down down numbers 1,6,8,9,10,25,26,28,30,31 ,33,34,35,36,39,40 and 42. As you probably can tell I enjoyed my visit very much. Thankyou for sharing and I'll be back soon. Best wishes to you and Gabriel. Al Australia.

    • Dear Gabriela & Yoshiyuki, It is a relaxing and pleasant album; My most favourite images are first the lanterns in the garden in #14, #15, the door and the roof in #16& #18 and the drum bridge in #19 so Japanese, then come the clarity and colours of kois in #7,and the very red tree in #31, the master piece being 24 the framed view ( I always fall in love of this kind of framed views offered by rectangle windows opened from the ground of an interior on an exquisite natural décor outside, the greatest luxury! We saw beautiful ones in the Yu garden of Shanghai and wonderful ones in Suzou), Thank You for the pleasant trip, Jacques

    • Mr. Tanaka, Gabriela, Very nicely done. #31 I've taken a liking to, serene in its own way. Architecture is wonderful, like the curved rooflines, the gardens are beautiful. Have never seen a garden in Japan that wasn't beautiful. You've caught the whole garden all in the right 'moods'. Thank you for the invitation and greetings from Oregon. Ron

    • Hello Gabriela and Yoshiyuki, What a great album the two of you make when you put your photos together. I think it is very interesting that in a concrete jungle (Tokyo) there are beautiful places to go and refresh the soul! I felt as though I had visited here myself. I enjoyed the Koi, the drum bridge and various statuary. I see that CS got to be first to sign this guestbook, it surely made him happy to do so, lol! Sending My Love to Both of You, Candy

    • Dear Gabriela & Yoshiyuki, this is truly a very nice place to enjoy a relaxation in the office district! HAHAHAHA! Happy to be honoured the No.1 in signing this guestbook. Tell you, dear friend, there is a similar garden like this one not far away from my office building, the garden has also some beautiful Chinese architecture. This is exactly similar to your beautiful city garden in Shinagawa, with somne beautiful Janapense architecture. And really, I have my after lunch relaxation in our garden. Yes, a very good relaxation! You can see our greenery city garden in my "CHINESE style" album too. But now, I must express my sincere thankfulness to kind and nice compliments to my Feather Tales! Hehehe! Truly, it seems that some of them really know how to post in front of my camera, especially the cute ducky behind the fence. Yes, truly how beautiful and friendly our feather friends are! I'm really in deep love with them! Thank you dear friend. Thank you for all your kindness! All my best, best, best regards to you! CS
