Hi Ken,a wonderful album of these antiques and collectables,a great idea and the images have a timeless feel to them,I'd never have thought of an antique store as a venue for an album but this is proof indeed that it works so well, thanks for sharing and for your continued support in my guestbook,Regards,Rod.

Beautiful pictures! Looks like we have a quest in common. Searching for covered bridges. :) I really enjoyed the one picture of Currin Covered Bridge where you see the large pine tree through the bridge. Your last picture in the album IS a favorite. It's peacefully beautiful. Glad you found it and shared it with us. Thanks, and keep shooting great pictures! ~Mandi P.S. Have a wonderful and Happy Holiday Season. May the new year bring inspiration and great lighting to you. ;)

Ken..I don't know how you found so many covered bridges in Oregon. When Sharon and I were out there, we found one and they were doing major road work on it. You have a beautiful collection in this album. Thanks for your kind remarks in my guestbook on my feature today. Sharon and I were on the go so much while we were in the Northeast this fall that we didn't take time to eat lobster. Thanks again and God Bless you and your family. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. Bob

Hi, Another great album of of our Gr8St8. All of your photos are nice. I remember my family crossing the Lowell covered bridge (first in the album) many times before the dam was built. My sister still lives close to it. Gloria <><

Hi Again, Ken....Thank you so much for your kind comments in my Covered Bridge album. I don't know exactly what it is, but these bridges fascinate me. They are so lovely and steeped in the heritage of our country. Your album is great. I was not aware of covered bridges in Oregon. They look to be a bit different than those we have in Indiana. The difference is what makes each of our albums, and pictures so enjoyable. Keep on taking your marvelous pictures for the world to enjoy! Ranae

Bonjour Ken! Beautiful covered bridges,as you saw on my albums i just love them, unfortunately here in Quebec they didn't see the "history&quo t; in them, until now, but things are beginning to changes,as the governement is starting to take better care of them. The one in Eugene is quite unique in his architecture, lucky for me you were there to capture the beauty of it. God bless. Luc (Montreal Canada)

Hey Ken, great covered bridges!! We didn't get to see any of these while we were in Oregon. Have driven through Eugene twice but always from the Umpqua on highway 58 which I guess is where you took the mountain stream photos. We were always on our way to the Oregon coast where we loved to go. Your journey above Cottage Grove looking for bridges looks like it was very scenic. My kind of drive! I love the mountains! Flo

I love covered bridges. They are lost art. America needs more of these romantic shelters.
said wings2soar
A taste of history is shown in these old wooden bridges as many of them date back to the early 1900's. Mostly found in the Eastern part of the country in the New England states but Oregon is loaded with them..Thank you for sharing these wonderful photographs..Kenny

Hi, I love the covered bridges. I hope to once more get out that far to also photograph them! We've traveled so much of the same ground! I wanted to tell you that yes, Sellwood is a small community just S.E. of Portland on the bank of the Willamette River. Mainly it's a tourist attraction and antique place. You'd LOVE it. I need to also get over there and shoot around soon. I'm wandering a bit farther now and then lately and want to do more and more. lindsay9 shutterbug.oly@verizon.ne t
