Em, these flowers ar absolutely gorgeous. Where do you find them all to photograph? Your frangipanis make we wish we had put some in our garden when we were first planting it out and there are a couple of nicely coloured dahlias there, too. We only seem to have any success with white ones. The bottlebrush type flower always photographs well doesn't it and I am looking forward to ours coming into flower again before too long. Another super album and you know I was just looking at the Editor's picks of flower photos and some of them are honestly nothing special - certainly you, me, Gladys and any of the rest of our many friends frequently post in photos the equal of, or better, than many of these and there is no doubt you have to be well in with the powers that be to stand any chance of ever getting on that list. Likewise almost all the other favoured photos are all from the same people and several of those I looked at did absolutely nothing at all for me. You take a guy like chrisrod100 whose photos of the west country of England are just fabulous and he doesn't even rate a mention. And fornside whose photos of the English Lake District are out of this world - he doesn't get a look in either. Seems all wrong to me, but that's life I guess! And that's my beef of the day - time now for afternoon tea. cya Peter

Hi Em, absolutely agree with Peter, that this album is SPECTACULAR! I can see in your picture compositions an ARTIST eye... perfection! I hope that some of these colorful beauties will grow in our garden sometimes during ...our summer! Greetings, Rafal

Hello Em, You are so kind with your flattering comments in my featured album, Thank you so much!! You are such a great artist, and photographer I am just overwelmed with pride that you like my photos. This is another stunning album, each and everyone of these flower photos are perfect! Soon I will enter a new album taken on my Easter vac./family reunion. My #2 daughter drove home with me then flew home from our house. on our drive home we took the scenic US-101 through the Redwoods Ave of the Giants. Sadly I ran out of film and memory in my two cameras so didn't get near as many photos as I would have liked too. I did manage to take a photo of a very old oil I did many years ago. It is in my grandsons room. I will add it to my craft album so you can see it. Well, sweet lady I am hoping you had a very nice Easter and please stay in touch...Laura

Hi Em! Enjoyed this lovely album too and was so pleased to see the "Snow-capped Bougainvillea" in #2, #3 & #60. I used to have a magnificent one in Karratha but had to leave it behind when I left. Unfortunately it seems as though Peter has been teaching you bad habits with the spelling of Bougainvillea (or else my Gardening Books are wrong)!! Also loved seeing the Golden Shower Tree (Cassia fistula) in #34, #35 & #75. I left one of them behind in Karratha too. Thankyou for giving me the unusual yellow shrub, but unfortunately I have no idea of its name at the moment, but I do know most of the others. Thankyou for capturing the beauty of Queensland's flowers and sharing it worldwide.. Gladys

Hi Em and you have some nice additions here. I see you have been learning Latin names, too! Clever! Cassia fistula eh? Hmmmmmm! Sorry if I have been getting you into bad habits with spellings but at least everyone knows what you mean! Take care, Peter

Hi Em, :-) Me again! Visiting once again your wonderful close-ups! A wonderful collection. How long did it take to get such a large beautiful collection? I like the African-Tulip-tree. Once I thought, my Mystery tree is one of those. Now in the close-up I see the big difference! The roses are so delicate. My favorite is the back-lit Apricot-Rose (#7) Ever lovely Frangipani! I think I took them all:-) - as usual! The Bougainvillea (#17, 18) are amazing! Gladys told me that they exist! ! ! Now I have seen some! Thanks for that. Last week I found an other interesting Bougainvillea scrub. The flowers were not only red and white, but also all shades between those colors. I took a little twig and took some pictures at home. One should NEVER leave the camera at home! Some day I'll manage and load those pictures up. The Pompoms in pic #23 are lovely and so are the Eucalyptus caesia flowers and the Gumnut-Flowers - most interesting! #44 Gold-Paint-on-Flowers - such a beauty! # 63 Pink-Pride-of-India - an other flower I've never seen and, and, and and many more! It was a lovely sliding around here. - Galit

Hey Em, Love the weird and wonderful shots of the African Tulip! Never seen that strange beauty before, love the shape of those waxy looking petals! Great shots of so many gorgeous flowers, those frangipani a lovely specialty! That shot of the "Bird of Paradise" being devoured by a locust or grasshopper was amazing too, so close and clear! Great shot! SO many interesting perspectives of the shapes of really interesting flowers! Always a pleasure, many thanks for sharing! Happy day to ya, amy
