Hi Em, thank you for your flurry of comments in my Gerbera album! Was a lot of fun putting that album together. They're such bright happy flowers! You've got something I don't have though - lots of photos of Australia! Come visit my Grevillea Rave album if you haven't already - that one was even more fun to put together!! Cheers, Sharon, Brisbane

Good day to you young lady. I trust you are well today. Glad you wrote in my local beaches guest book because it gives me another reason to get back to you and to see this gorgeous album of yours once again. I still can't get over those grevilleas! Beautiful and so well photographed too. What are you going to do with all your photos when you start your travelling? Taking a laptop with you and loading them into that every day? Carrying a few spare flash cards? Using internet cafes to send them home? (I don't know if you can do that actually) I am gradually building up quite a stock of Xd cards now that the prices are coming down. Are you catching up with yourself yet? You had a mountain of work to do last I heard. Anyway, won't keep you today - the sun has started shining after a morning's rain and the golf course is calling to me. Cya kid Hugs, Peter

Hi Em, Thank you for your nice comments in my Serenity album. Do appreciate. These bottle-brush photos are looking a lot like the pictures in my newest album called Shore Acres Gardens, just uploaded this new one two days ago. Incidentally, one of the photos, #30 appears to be something you could/might paint and you've my permission if you'd like to try. Thanks for this album, I was guessing as to the name of this plant. Take care and best regards. Ron/Oregon Coast

Hi Em, sorry for keeping you waiting! Peter told me, that you always remember who you have written to and who has replied!!!! :-)) I am on holiday now, but I found myself busy with a lot of stuff I should have done a long time ago! I looked at your albums always at the moment they came out, but to write . . . . takes some more, there is so much I've to tell you always and always! :-) Thank you for all your wonderful messages in my different albums. I love your messages! I'm happy you liked the strawberries. They WERE very tasty! Yes, the Mystery tree lost it's mystery. It is so nice how all MY Aussies participated to find this tree. Thanks for the compliments about my 'some things' album. This Album is very special to me, a lot of who I am. Thanks for directing me to the album of the famous trees. I knew the site. Some time ago Eric found my fairytale about those tree trunks and wrote in my guestbook. Nearly I had missed this beautiful new album. I think I loaded all in it down! Thanks for the hint! :-) I love this album with all it's additions. My favorites are the Grevillia pictures at 'blue' dawn. The wonderful contrast between blue and yellow is so very attractive! The different colors of the bottlebrush are new to me. They are nice, but I think the most beautiful color for this brush is red. I like red, even it is so difficult to catch. I think our red in April is more glowing, more intense than all over the year. Even the Hibiscus looses some of it's fire later in the year. :-) The close-ups of the Lemon Banksia are amazing. That's a tree I've never seen. Looks like a brush, too, but more orderly. All your close-ups are wonderful, so clear and sharp even when there is only dawn light! Do you have a new camera? I remember you weren't very enthusiastic about a camera you got at your last birthday. (I still don't know when your birthday is! Must be in December!??) See you at the next album..... lol Galit

G'day Em and I am fast running out of adjectives! The additions to this album are just stunning photos of beautiful Aussie flora and I still can't believe that you have them in flower at this time of year when we have to wait a while. Somehow I can't see you wanting to part with that camera now - you've really got it licked mate! Very well done and I am looking forward to the next batch of additions. Take care. Peter

Hi Em, you will be pleased to know your Wollemi pines made the front page of one of our national daily newspapers today. Quite a large piece, quoting sir David Attenborough who planted the first tree at Kew gardens. so the word is spreading!reputedly available in UK garden centres next April at "less than 100gbp" & a ideal patio plant! Love the bottle brush photos, have a small one in a pot on my back terrace but just back from over there & found a whole street in Monterey with them trained as trees, will get a photo up soon. Eric

Hello Em, I see you've been busy with the camera while I've been chasing after other interests. I don't think you can beat out precious native flowers, they make a magnificent display, and attract so many birds and insects. I love to lose myself in native vegetation and just watch and listen to the native birds squalk and chatter, warble and call. Your Grevillia and Bottlebrush are wonderful examples of our abundance, and all we have to treasure and enjoy. Beautiful photos Em, your passion shows in every frame. I'm glad you enjoyed me Fun at The Fair album. Not great photos as photos go, I was trying to capture something of the colour and excitement. All the best, Keith.

Hi my dear friend Em, Precious album of spring. This album gathers a selection of flowers that in addition to being very pretty are very rare. You have known to photograph them like a teacher. Their colors are clear and defined and are a gift for the eyes. Thanks to share its art and its work. Also thanks for signing in my guest book. You are very generous with me. Best whises from Spain. Hi Em. ... These are gorgeous, I love grevillias are they all from your garden? I'm planning a native garden for my backyard at the moment, hoping to encourage more of our beautiful bird life to my yard. Do you get many lorikeets and honey eaters frequenting these beautiful flowers? ... All the best, Brenda.

Hi Em. Another great album. You have been busy. It is lovely to see all the wonderful Australian Wildflowers through your lense. Thanks for visiting my "Fingal Bay" album and your very kind comments. The high rise you are concerned about is looking back toward Tweed Heads so you don't have to worry. Looking forward to catching up on your other albums. Cheers...Chris QLD :-)

Hello once again Em and thanks for commenting on the additions to my bush fire album. As you said, Blackboys, in particular, virtually depend on fire for their survival and one thing we can be sure of is that come springtime they will all be sending up their incredibly long flower plumes, which always follow a fire. Further north one of the trees in the Kalbarri National Park has a strange nut that magically opens right out following a fire. Even the wildflowers seem to flourish and I have no doubt that our local bush will look absolutely stunning come the spring. For all that, though, one ranger lost his house and contents totally and another had his house very badly damaged, plus yet another ranger was lucky to escape with his life when a burning tree fell across the tractor he was driving while trying to establish a fire break. So all in all the little b.........who started this deserves all he got, and more if you ask me! And there ends the sermon for today! cya Peter

Hi Em! Lovely to see your name back on the list of new albums and suddenly I find I have 8 new ones to look at! You have been busy with the camera! Great to see a colourful album of our beautiful Aussie Wildflowers. The many varieties of Grevillea and Bottlebrush put on a wonderful display. I photographed some Melaleuca flowering last Sunday. That made me wonder if your White Bottlebrush had Paperbark Trunks, if so, they are Melaleuca. A nice Cream Grevillea is flowering nearby, and if you go out into the desert in May you will find the beautiful Grevillea eriostachya beginning to flower, and sucking the honey from that is really delightful. Thanks for sharing... Gladys.

It's just not fair! How come you get these gorgeous flowering Grevilleas all year round and we only get them in Spring? (I'll check with Gladys on that but I've never seen them in flower at any other time) And the different colours of the bottlebrush too. But above all I just love that blue effect you got in the first few piccies - was that just the natural colour of dawn? You are gradually tempting me to get myself out of bed earlier to hunt around our neighbourhood with my camera, although I did once walk across the golf course at 5.30am and got some very strange looks indeed from the resident roos. Yet another super album from a master (mistress?) of the photographic art. Goodonya. Peter

Hi Em, Stunning photos of these two beautiful Aussie shrubs. Have taken four of them to be screensavers. Does the grevillia have perfume? Lovely that you can get honey from it. Do you have a hive? Thankyou for sharing them with us. It is an honour to be first to write in your new guestbook. Hope you are keeping well, and enjoying life, Lots of love dear friend, Sheila.
