    • We are in spring in New Zealand at the moment, and I have just discovered the beauty of the dogwood flower, and so went searching for what other people have taken of it. You have some beautiful shots of it, plus other spring flowers, and I have greatly enjoyed my visit. I invite you to view mine. Cynthia

    • It was a pleasure to see the flowers in this album. I grew up on the east coast in Massachusetts with a lilac bush on my front yard and miss it a lot. I've never seen dogwood or redbud trees, so that was a treat also. Enjoyed seeing the cherry blossom as well. Thank you for sharing them with us.

    • Hello Jayne, This album in beautiful and I love all of your four choices for this album. #5 is a stunning photo of the Redbud trees, makes me thrilled we planted one not long ago. But I'm sure we won't be around by the time it gets as old as those in your photo...HA! I came to thank you for visiting my site and for your kind entry in my GB. But think I will nose around a bit in your other albums as well. Take care, Laura

    • Jayne: Thanks for the visit, I am glad you enjoyed the rails and trail. My wife and I ride it at least three times a week. The trail is maintained by our state, it is 60 miles long and a wildlife photographers dream. The trail borders Big Pine creek for the entire 60 miles. We usually ride 16 miles each time out, and it is more for excercise than photography. The autum is awesome here to say the least. In answer to your question, I also use a 35 mm. My choice is a Canon, I like using it especially for water falls shots. I like going to a very slow shutter speed in order to create that milky look to the water. I also have many 35 mm lens up to a Tameron 400mm. At present I also use a Olympus 730C with a 1.7X B300 converter lens. With the 10X optical zoom on the camera and this lens I can get out to around 750MM (35mm conversion) now that is getting up close and personal..Like you I am thinking of buying a SLR digital, my choice is a Canon Rebel. This way I can utilize all my other lens. I have studied your your lilacs, dogwood, cherry blossoms album..Great shots nice macro images..Please if you have time look at my Flowering beauties album.... You have been also added to my favorites.. Len

    • Hello Jayne and greetings from Kentucky. Redbud trees are so pretty in the spring, along with the Dogwoods. I have been on the road for several days, my fingers want to press a little round button, and I hear a click. I have some photos of horse, and when I get those on, my camera caught him as the sound of the camera click scared him. But rest assured I took more then just a picture of a horse. And in your entry in my guestbook, I got a little chuckle, when you said that you wished you had a green thumb. I was wondering if you had some green dye? I just could not resist the temptation to poke a little fun your way. On to a more serious thought, I think you have a great eye for natures beauty. Thanks Jayne for signing my guestbook. Thanks too for sharing this beautiful album... Darrell
