  • I believe your 'mystery' tree is a Japanese Magnolia, usually called a 'Tulip Tree'!We have lots of them here.. Jenny, in Alabama

  • Thank you for your thoughtful entry in my guestbook. The first photo of the flower in this album is my favorite. I should like to try and paint a picture of it. :)

  • The 1st "Name That Flower" picture (#5 in your album) reminds me of a cyclamen - however, I have only seen a cyclamen as a fairly small plant. The cyclamen flower reminds me of a butterfly with its wings folded back (together). I can't tell what size the plant is in your picture - but all your pix of flowers are beautiful. Real talent.

  • It looks like some kind of ornamental flowering plum to me. Gorgeous!

  • This is a beautiful album! I just love the Camelia picture. It is a work of art! I think your first no name flower is a Tulip Tree. At least that is what we have always called them here in Indiana. I am not sure of the second pic. Hopefully someone else will know the name of that tree. I do have some pics myself of the tulip tree under username "digicampics& quot;, album "These Flowers are Spring!". You might want to take a look. I am sure they are the same flower. Thank you for sharing this beautiful album with me. Ranae

  • Luelin, thank you for the nice entry in my guestbook. You may not be painting with a pictures with a brush right now but if I can do it, anyone can. Besides, you are still painting. For now, your brush is your camera lens. By the way, I like your flowers. :)

  • I wonder why the cereus plant never blooms in the day time and why its flower only opens once in a specific period of a single night, then withers... never to open again ...!!!???
