Dear Galit. I've lost count of how many times I have visited this album but see that I was here on one occasion two years ago to wish you a Happy Christmas for 2005!! Very many thanks for looking at my Around Beringbooding album and for all the lovely comments. That is not a new album by the way - I posted it just over a year ago!! I am glad we went last year and not this because apparently the wildflowers were nowhere near as good this year. While we were away recently we visited an area called the Valley of Giants. http://public.fotki.com/georgieboy98/valley-of-the-giants/ If you have time it might interest you because it is all about some pretty amazing and unique trees that are not found anywhere else in the world. Thank you for your good wishes for Christmas which, I guess, is not a holiday for you. Hopefully, though, I'll catch up with you again before the years comes to an end. Hi Galit, thanks for #43. Thanks also for visiting my new albums. The Iguasu Falls were indeed pictured from the sky - from a helicopter. It's a breathtaking experience, I first did it while flying over a volcano in Hawaii (unfortunately, I didn't take a camera with me). As for the events in Nachalat Binyamin and other places, I read about them in the local newspapers or friends. I find these as a good opportunity to take pictures of people and art at the same time. I recommend a visit to Nachalat Binyamin on a sunny Friday with the camera - you won't be disappointed. Have a lovely day, Yair.

But for myself I thank you sincerely for your very kind and generous remarks in my Journey Across Australia album and it is hard for me to believe those photos were taken nearly 20 years ago when I was still a (fairly) young lad (You don't have to answer that) You had already made a lot of additions to the Bourgainvillea album when I saw it and they really added a lot to the interest didn't they? You did a great job there young lady! We have been sweltering in 38/39C heat the last couple of days but are forecast a cool change to around 30C for the next few days. Galit I love not only the colors in your roses but the velvet texture of the peddles. I love flowers and have many on my site but also enjoy seeing them through other peoples eyes. Hi Galit! Thank you for your kind and detailed message, which I enjoyed reading... as usual. Thank you for the name of the plumria. There weren't any "paparazzis& quot; in this album ;-) not on purpose, but simply the album was combined of photos that didn't didn't enter other albums so far. My brother and his family live in San Diego, California, and it doesn't look like they are going to return soon. I really don't understand them. It's a very nice place, but I couldn't live there by no way. You have to drive for an hour to buy fresh bread, drive another hour to get fresh fruit, and you can only dream of milk products and many other good things like in Israel. The houses and streets are beautiful, but you don't see any people walking or children playing around, at all! You can only see people driving cars, working out in the gym or showing off at the beach. And speaking of the beach, yes you can see nice blond boys with their surfborads, but you can't enjoy swimming - it's too cold!!! Oh, well, I hope I'm not offending anyone, but I really think San Diego is not even close to be as good as Israel, and I know you'll agree with me. Again, have a fantastic year, with plenty more successful photography (maybe some "paparazzis& quot;?) Orly

Galit-before I retired I had accumulated about five thousand pictures. Since then I've edited a couple thousand and thrown what duplicates I had out and have since been scanning many of my slides and neg's. The scanning takes a lot of time and downloading onto Webshots doesn't. As for 'thank you' notes, that took all of six days and with all this retirement on my hands, it was a matter of shaking out a little time here and there between projects. Finally finished up this morning. I sometimes get a little long winded when writing notes back to folks, have to look over what their albums are all about, download a few, lots of education in pictures and just one picture is worth to a thousand words I'm sure you've heard someone say, so I learn as I run through everyone's albums. Again, thanks for your comments. Just keep taking pictures. Ron

I've just fallen flat on my back in a faint of sheer surprise and and absolute amazement at the honour of having one of your lovely roses dedicated to me! Hi Galit! WOW WOW WOW!! First, thank you for your "feature proposal". I did enjoy reading it very much (obviously :-)), I just was offline yesterday. I don't have the time to write a similar "feature proposal" about this album of yours. Also I didn't have time to decide what photos to download. So my "feature proposal" would be : TO BE FEATURED!! I really did see a lot of flowers and roses an Webshots, and usually they tend to get boring, but not this one!! Really every photo is a feast for the eye and so perfectly composed. Your photos are certainly becoming more and more professional. Also it was a lovely idea to put a rose within that flowery thing (?) in the last photos. Before I go, if you go to the Acre citadel, first thing look for the visitor center (it's not as visible as in normal places), but don't be satisfied with the map they give you because the numbering on the map is completely different than the numbering in the citadel itself!! So you better get someone to explain you the route. Really the organization there is much poorer than you would expect in such a place. Regarding taking pictures of people: Generally it wasn't so easy throughout the city, but when it came to children it was a piece of cake!! And very delightful!! BTW "sura" in means picture in Arabic. This is probably all you have to know. Byeeeeeeeeeeee have a nice week, Orly
