Can you tell me how deep you had to file to level everything out? .002, .005? More? Also how thick is the material on the reciever? I have a post 1964, Mod 94, and I was wondering how the two compare. Mine was stamped out with a sledge hammer and cut with a fire axe! BTW; The gun is beautiful, a little too much engraving for my taste but a work of art. Is the stock original? Before they ran out of good wood?
