Yes, I have seen an elephant ear bloom. From a photo my paternal grandmother took in the 1930's. She had grown one in Coolidge,AZ. in about 1935 or 36. I have just started one myself, in San Francisco,CA.in a large pot. I understand that some varieties bloom like a big lily. Best Regards, DNMagness
