  • Hi Daniel, thanks for your visit to my album of Singapore Botanic Gardens and for your kind words in the guestbook. I had only a few hours to visit Singapore on my way to New Zealand, so I had less than an hour to visit the botanic gardens. I'm sure you'll enjoy visiting there and I hope that you'll have much more time to do that than I did. Wishing you a Happy New Year, Yair.

  • Thankyou for you r comments on my Dragonfly . it did take a lot of patience to get those 2 shots, they are so quick and do not stay still for long.. and they spook very easily. You must have a wonderful garden and as they say..green fingers. Lovely flowers and I love the arches with the roses. regads poppy

  • Hi Daniel, and how are you my friend. Firstly apologies for the delay in replying but I have had no access to a computer for weeks bar a couple of very short spells at a library which vanished soo quickly I had no time for anything much. Back in Sydney for a few days then drive out again. tks also for lovely words in my Flowers album and I had a look at your absolutely fantastic photo restoration site. You have done a wonderful wonderful job my friend and I am proud of you. No doubt many people will find your site and be knocking down your doors to get you to fix their pics. It is a wonderful and enjoyable hobby my friend and you have excelled at it and your website is fabulous. I wish I had the time to do a website for my paintings. Oneday maybe. Did you create your site also and if so, what program did you use? You have done yourself proud my friend and I loved all of your work. Take care lots of hugs and catch you soon....Kindest regards...Em

  • Hi Daniel, Tks for your kind words and it is always a delight to take a walk through your delightful garden and I love the beautiful yellow rose. Wish my Fuschia when I had it years ago...grew like your beauty as I just love them. Perhaps the climate here doesn't suit, but mine was always a failure!! The Patio pic with the flowering pots is wonderful and it must be such a delight to you to walk in your garden of flowering beauty!! I never forget those spectacular sunflowers that I thought were in this album that were in your garden?...Trust that old computer has a reprive as we all have been through that one!! Trust that your health and life are keeping you out and about and tks once again for your kindness. Have a really great day....Em

  • Hi there, and I soo apologise for the delay in replying as been away and computer also was down. Tks for your kind words, and your fab flora and fauna. I still over all the flowers, love those fabulous sunflowers that you grow. They are spectacular, and I reckon they would certainly put a smile on the dial everyday. Hope you are going better, and, you must get out, walk, and get some more great pics. Your garden no doubt, keeps you busy maintaining it's beauty and it sure puts shame to mine, which is mainly overgrown trees, and jungle for the birds. Anyway, have a really great day...and remember, the world is a beautiful place full of many many places to see and explore. Take care and have a really great day...Kindest regards....Em

  • Hello, your pics are very nice but i think you should take more close-ups like you did with "busy lizzy", "tobacco plant" and petunias. Only best wishes ;o) Olga from Belarus.

  • ...hey there...that smoothness just comes from years of paintbrushing...and the blending...so..it was a challenge on the computer, but I quite loved it!! I don't do much at all of that anymore, I missed the real paint too much, and decided to go back and pursue my art, after many years away from it..A little here, a little there, but now, it is, my passion. Practice will help u there to get that smoothness. I use the finger smudger in photoshop..as it is great for blending. PSP7 probably has something the same, but been awhile since used that. Then I discovered Photoshop, and that was it..It was just superior in soo many ways....especially the price..LOL. The great thing is..that u can get in there, and give it ago, and are happy with the results. We are all novices, and it is only practice, that leads us up a course of more confidence. Keep up the great work....That is the best!!...Kindest regards...Em..and hey I studied french for 5 years at school??...never used it, but still remember some of it....au revoir, mon amie!!

  • ..Tks..I used a programme on P.C.called Photoshop, but the method I use is the same as painting, except brush is the mouse so still need to use hands...just different!! Loved the undo if I made a mistake...and when I got back into my brushwork, I sure missed the old control Z for undoing mistakes. Oneday will put up the others...just haven't had the time, and isn't it just flying. Have a great day......Em
