Truly amazing.... my father grew roses...and you have captured their beauty so wonderfully... AND...as i glanced at your "friends" list...i was surprised and pleased to know that of all the millions of folks here...you have Simona listed, also... we loved her pics, shared ours with her...and, as luck would have it..our Mediteranean cruise, last year...docked in her home city....!!! she was there, on the dock, waiting for us at 8 AM...showed us her home, the city, and a restaurant we shall never forget..( 8 different kinds of octopus !! ).....she is a delight... feel free to browse our pics, too....i am far more "amateur" than you...but the subject matter is very nice, and quite varied....from Iceland to Egypt....as well as the pets, family, and hobby... do enjoy..... we love your work.... ( the wife is Canadian, of course :-)

Your winter photos, November and December are outstanding. I grew up in Michigan and your photos remind me of my walks in the woods, seeing those spectacular images and always wishing I had a camera to have that memory of what I have just seen captured on film. Although anyone can take a picture of a rose they have in the garden, I applaud you for not only the fabulous work, but also the near frost-bitten fingers and toes you endured. Hi Mary, What a beautiful collection of Roses! Irises and tulips may have more vibrant colors, but the colors of roses seem so warm and so soft they could probably keep one warm through the coldest of winters and no flower comes close to the shape of roses.
