EM..I am back to visit your black and white albums and to answer your question about all those kitties! First I really enjoyed your black and whites. It is interesting how a flower is thought to derive its beauty from its color only. But the symmetry, curve of the petals, drape of the leaves, is so equally important. The absence of color in your BW images of the flowers shows the other side of their beauty! Well done.. in short! The CATS: Nicki, Nuckles, Annabel, Cleo and Miss Fay are all mine! Cleo is the mom (but she has been fixed!). Annabel is not related. The white babies (of which Dusty is the front one) and Dusty are also Cleo's kittens. Dusty found a home with my best friend and Snickers (the other white baby) found a home with a friend I work with. There is plenty of action around the house and they all need their dose of love. I also have a chihuahua so... as I said lots of action around here! Having all these cats was not a concious decision.. it just happened. Cleo was not being taken care of so I guess I took her in. She brought Miss Fay with her and then got pregnant again. After the last batch I figured if I am taking care of her then I am going to give her a break from having babies. Cleos last litter of kittens (Nicki, Nuckles, Dusty and Snickers) where all born on my front porch. To watch Cleo take care of them was a gift. She too was a proud mom and cleaned bathed, fed, tried to move them under the bed, played.. all of those things mom's do. It was really neat to be a part of.
