Sweet Candi, these Michigan Wildflowers are so gorgeous, and you captured each one with such clarity and beauty. Your macro photography is 5-star. Absolutely beautiful. So nice to hear from you today, and thank you for all you sweet notes. You cause me to believe I am actually a promising photographer. I'm having fun - and I know you are too. Hi to Dave. Growing wild in the woods is so dainty and girlish, ...aaacchhhoooo I'm allerigic to the golden rod too and it is so pretty, I just love the lil dutch guys britches...cracks me up, but the one that stands out is growing in the field. WoW Candi, that's a Dandi!! Great shot my dear and for the wonderful moment in your lil corner on MI. Luvz Vicki

I grew up in Massachusetts with a lilac bush right outside our front door. Miss them! Thanks for sharing your photo of the lilacs. You have an amazing collection of albums! Varied and beautifully done! Thank you for sharing them. I think it may take me a while to go thru them all. Now when I don't see my daily five that I want to download, I can pop over to yours and pick some more!

Hi again Candi. I neglected to relate to you the reason that I love wildflowers so much. I believe, with all my heart and soul, that they are God's way of letting us know that He DOES care about us and that He Does love us!!! Just had to let you know that. God bless Sweetie!!! Terry

Good afternoon Candi, from Sherwood,OR. I want to congratulate you on your Featured Album today. The ornaments are absolutely wonderful! You have much more patience than I do. This album, however, has won you a place on my "FM" list! The sensitivity to God's creations is fantastic! Only He could have given you this talent! May you and your husband have a blessed Christmas and a Joyous New Year! And, may Our Heavenly Father continue to bless and be with you and yours!!! Love, Terry(trbcowboy@msn.com)

You've not taken a picture that isn't worthy of downloading to my computer. I've got an old Pentax MEF (early '80's)with a variety of lenses & filters and a Sony Cyber-Shot (late 90's.) Only in my dreams can I be half as good as you! Can't purchase a membership 'cause I don't have a credit card. Have begged & begged Webshots for an address to mail the fee, which has been to no avail. They are adamant about using a credit card. Here's a question for which I need an answer. When "NEW" appears in red after an album, how or what do I need to do to find your new additions? Thank you so very, very much for letting me accompany you on your travels. For you to answer my plaintive plea, you can find Jaye at etoile@rogers.com/Toronto , Ontario, Canada

Candi, supercalafragallisticexpe aladous! I need not say any more, but I will. Your talents "blossom" in this album. Lavender Sweet Pea just pops, incredable softness with the veins running through as if it were a map to the center of the flower, maybe for thoes bees that don't have the best of eye sight, lol. Fuzzy Wuzzy is amazing; delicate and intricate with a vibrant purple color. After A Shower is just unbeleaveable, the water looks as though it were freckles on the flowers. Periwinkle With Green is a magnificent display of color, one velvety soft and the other silky and shiny. The entire album is a work of art. Luv Vicki/Michigan

Hi Candi, What a variety of wildflowers you have here!!! I think wildflowers are my favorite thing! There are years where we have vast amounts of flowers here in Southern California, but I have never seen many of the varieties that you have! Your pictures are wonderful! I think we may have a great spring season in 2005 if these rains keep up...I hope you have the same! I will check back to see what gems you post! Thanks so much for sharing the beauty! God bless you, Lynn P.S. I think your "Looks Like Lace" is actually called "Queen Ann's Lace" but as I'm not an expert, I'd check it out before labeling it as such! - L :)

Hi Candi. thankyou for your kind entry in my 'Pictures for Wallpaper' album. Yes the roses are growing in my garden, and still blooming! The bluebells are growing in a wood quite near to where I live. they are SO beautiful, and smell lovely too. Loved this album of yours. You have beautiful wildflowers. 24 is crane's-bill (a wild geranium), 34 is hoeysuckle. (each finger opens into a separate flower), and 48 is mallow, ( also almost sure, 11 is the paler version). Hope that helps. Best wishes from UK, Sheila.

Loved your wildflowers! Your pic #5, Growing on the Forest Floor, is what we called "Spring Beauties" when I was growing up in northern Virginia. I do so enjoy wildflowers, and seeing those growing in other areas of the country is a real joy. Violets are my special favorite. Charlotte, now in El Paso, TX

Hello Candi, I have enjoyed visiting your wildflower album very much. Congratulations, too on being featured today. I also do a lot of wildflower photography, stop by and visit my Where the Wild Things Are albums. You asked for identification of the flowers...two I recognize are number 41 which are Hare Bells and 49 which is purple loosestrife. It is so interesting to see the wildflowers of other areas. I definitely will stop back again. My best, Joline/Maine

Hi Candi! It was real nice communicating you yesterday!! I really enjoyed the conversation…lol. It was quite unfortunate that I had to leave… I went nowhere else other than the park near my office. You’ll see the results in my upcoming “PEOPLE” album. It’ll be out in a week or so. As you know it’s not easy to take photos of people. But this case I’m trying to portray the funnier side of People rather than concentrating on serious portrait photography. Well…I’ve got triple feature today on DPN again!!! What a day. At least my work is being appreciated by somebody. Well..try and join us there at DPN. I tell ya you won’t regret it. Cheers! Sanjay

Hiya Candi, Great album,Love the forest shots.Macro Buttercups look like the Marsh Marigold we have in the uk and the only reason I have any idea is because We walk the woods near us and found them in a boggy area.Normaly I have no clue to the names of flowers but this photo spured me on to find out.I have used a Cannon SLR for years now, But The Nikon digi has given new life to my photography. No problem taking loads of shots to experiment. Hi Candi, WOW, Spring was definately worth waiting for, your photos of these flowers are just great! "Macro Trillium" is beautiful, I love the detail and I have never seen a Trillium before, so this is a very special photo for me! I also really like "Growing amid the grass" and "Carpeting the lawn" it is hard to believe those little beauties are in a lawn. I got a laugh out of your last comment in my guestbook, and it is so true, I bet you could see you and Dave fishing at that spot, ha! Thank you for visiting my album and sending you hugs from New Mexico. Candy

Thanks, Candi, for the congrats on my featured album. Your wildflower album is very pretty. I could be very wrong, but the white blooms in photo #4 look like the blooms on wild strawberry plants. But if the flowers don't have identification tags by the names of them, Sharon and I have lots of trouble identifying most of them. :-)) I hope someone else will know if that is what #4 really is. Have a great weekend and thanks again. Bob in Missouri
