Hello Mike: your completed Wildflower album is a real encyclopedy - hope you have found a way to keep it accessible for ever - better more: publish it! So many people would be enchanted - and it would soon be a botanic bestseller! Meanwhile: please continue with your so well documented lessons (finally: in honor of your short name!!!). - Thank you for your kind comment on our Spring album, April 29! Best wishes! K+H

Hi Mike, you certainly have put together a wonderful album, enjoyed it so much...if you have time I have a new Macro and it is doing well. Hope all is well in your part of the world...We are getting some heavy fog in the mornings and floods in Queensland and N.S.W. but still in drought in Victoria. It is a crime to let all that flood water run away... Hugs. Shirley

What a wonderful album. I love what you've done with the closeups. Of course, I love the wildflowers and weeds.

I apologize for the double post. I have created an album here with 30 flower photos. I welcome anyone to correct the identification of any that are titled, or to name those that aren't yet titled.

Thank you for this resource. While I am far from new on this earth, I am fairly new to an addiction of wildflowers. I live surrounded by thousands of acres of woodlands, marsh and stream, and fallow fields. After many years of nodding in smiling appreciation while passing an unknown bloom, it has become apparent that I need more. I can't help myself! But now I know, I'm not alone. :)

And you know the names of all of these...! Great photos....frail and beautiful. I think the cherry blossom and the fern fiddles are my favorites. The single fern fiddle is a perfect capture. Chris

Hi Mike, I learn a lot when I view your pics. One of my favorite flowers, The vioet, and I have a yard full of them, but had no idea they came in yellow. Our State flower is very beautiful, and that red trillium is so nice. I never heard of the Pussytoes, but it sure is pretty too! Thank you for taking the time to view my new album. Thanks for the nice comments. Yur album is wonderful as always! Vicky

Professor, You've shot another nice album and named each flower too, sure helps the rest of us out. The soldier lichen I took a liking to and downloaded, it must have an interesting story in how it got its name, I must look that up. Appreciate having all this information about flower names in one album. All the best. Ron/Oregon Coast

Hi Mike, thanks for your friendly remarks on my flower album. It's not so strange that I know the scientific names of plants: I have been a fanatic gardener for fourty years now, one day (admittedly twenty years ago) I had a collection of about 1500 species, cultivars and so on in my garden, mostly of perennials. Before that I had a nice collection of tropical orchids, mostly the very tiny ones from moderate areas, and to collect etc I knew the names of about ten thousand species. That's not amazing at all, I think. This album, by the way, contains a few good pictures.

Thanks Mike for this wonderful wildflower album! There are many flowers that we have never seen, so as the lovely blue flag iris. The fern head is a fabulous picture, a masterpiece! A hi from two wildflower lovers, Henri and Käthi

Hello, Mike. I very much appreciate what has gone into this album. I can see that you've an eye for the "little" ; flower, which often do not get any recognition, but in their element, they certainly offer beauty. Thanks for capturing that, and for sharing your knowledge of the names of these gems. Many thanks! Peter

Hi Mike! What a beautiful album! Wildflowers are so beautiful and often times overlooked, so thanks for sharing your photos of them. Our daughter used to live in Harrisburg, PA, and we enjoyed the beauty of PA when we visited there. Thanks for the congratulations on my featured album today. Have a great weekend. Sharon

Hi MIke, I'm glad you know the names of wildflowers. I sure don't. This is a beautiful album full of beautiful flowers. Thank you for revisiting my country album. I'm adding photos to an older album. Will try to finish it today, but I'm on a satellite connection, and we are having a lot of storms through the area, and it stops my connection. Sharon
