Hi Em, Thanks for this fantastic album. Colorful and the beauty speaks their own language in these really pretty images. Photos 2, 29 and 35 are magnificent. The number 2 is my favorite. I never get tired to admire the dressed magicians who the nature has put to the flowers. Some models are impressive. Thanks again for the numerous commentaries on my albums. I feel crushed and I do not deserve that honor. Thankfully. Jesus.

Em, that Frangipani flower is absolutely beautiful. But you have so many to choose from, they are all great. I have so many stories from my short visit in Australia it could probably make you laugh for hours, but I can never get the place out of my head, it was gorgeous, and MASSIVE! The trip from Sydney to Canberra took every bit of kidney control I had,,, you guys drive on the wrong side, and my side was hanging over the cliffs back in the blue mountain area. Stupidly I looked down a couple of times, I swear there was cows at the bottem of that ravine, but they were just black spots. I think most of the ride, I was attempting to straddle the driver, :) well if you know what I mean, I just wanted to put some additional weight on that side of the car. One other tiny note you guys should warn people,,, your english and english is not exactly the same, but the time I figured out what was said, I was usually in the process of getting hurt first. One picture,,,I go out the back of my friends house, a small deck on the backside, it was pitchblack, I opened the door took 3-4 steps and I heard that Aussie behind me say something, somewhere in the middle of the air, I realized what he had said, there was no rails,,, he spoke english I'm sure of it, but that accent gave me a tad of trouble. It was not a small drop, I was in Australia less than 24 hours, and I had already broken my BUTTTT. I mean I really huuuuurtted myself. At first they were very concerned when they were trying to see if I was okay,,, but after they heard what amounted to 2 hours of non-stop cussing, all I could see what their flashlights out in the yard, not coming at me, but pointed down and shaking, all I know is I hope they peed their pants,,,, dahhhh of course, when they did get to me,,, it was, did you hurt anything? (followed by I can't tell you on this page), but they were asking if I damaged the property.... Are you all like that:) oh sorry but everytime I come back to your albums I go Aussie nuts. :) Melody

Hi Em, Thanks for the note! You'd probably laugh at my Frangipani (Plumeria is easier to spell!) plants as they are more like sticks than trees! But I hope to nurse them along to full size! Our weather here in So. California is pretty mild, but there are a few days each year where the temps drop close to freezing, so it may be touchy! Anyways...I have a jacaranda tree in my little back yard and it is my absolute favorite tree - in bloom and out. The flowers are beautiful, but just those gorgeous fernlike leaves were enough to win me over! I'd plant them all over if our yard was large enough! Our trees bloom in April - May, so they will soon enter their dormant stage. I'll look to your albums during our winter months! Keep taking those great pics!! Blessings from So. Cal., Lynn

Hi Em! We are both lovers of Flowers and Nature, so I enjoyed this lovely album and your great variety of shots. The number of flowers and buds on that Bush Gladioli amazed me! The Bells in the Mist is a charming shot. Always love the Frangipanis in their various colours. My first Hippeastrum flower opened today, so it has been well photographed! Pleased you are enjoying my Wildflower Trip and I have a new album "Wildflower Festival 2004" under this name if you are not saturated with wildflowers. Thankyou for your lovely messages. Have a good weekend. Gladys.

Hi Em, I am conquering your albums . . . . . every day a new surprise! Your flowers are very beautiful. I see their are many flowers we know here in Israel too; and others that I've never seen. You have so many and so excellent photographs of the Frangipani. Does this flower have a special meaning to you or to Australia. We have them here a lot, but only in white. The pink is gorgeous! But I never saw that yellow native scrub. Going on a WEBSHOT search I discovered a lot more unknown Australian scrubs. I love yellow trees and yellow as color, as flower - I have a yellow car of course! But I see your flowers are much less humorous than your trees! That's why I like trees ;-) I am happy you liked my 'night cacti' it was an adventure to get there every night! Oh yes take out the spray cans, take some leaves and flowers and your energy and get a new 'vision' in your garden wall! Maybe in yellow? Sure it is good, when you have more plans than time - sure... as long as you are busy ....;-) My dad - I should make him a tree album - or a wood album - he would have liked that. I think I've learned a lot from him, but discovered that many years later. He did not talk much but took us children (5) to help him at work. I loved that, because after work we got Coca Cola - which my mother did not know......our secret! Yesterday my sons girlfriend brought me a bunch of roses, each rose an other color. Today - sitting at my PC suddenly a ray of the sun caught the roses - it was so beautiful! I think I took a hundred pictures or so. - wow, there wasn't a single yellow rose under those 10 colors!! Unbelievable! Now I'll take my camera and bring them on the web! Have a beautiful Frangipani day! - Galit

So now I have reached this one!! Honestly Em, these albums of yours just keep getting better and better the more I open. You have done so well to get those close ups as sharp as you have and have captured the textures in all the frangipani shots brilliantly. I could go on but looking back through what others have written my words would be inadequate.Peter in Western Australia

Here in Carlsbad we call these Plumeria! I don't think they are native here, do they grow wild in Australia? Your photos are just gorgeous, thanks for posting them.
