Album Description:

Pottery done by hand no wheel. Clay dug in Freeport and Port O'Connor Texas by the Gulf of Mexico. Fired in a homemade kiln by a man educated in archaeology using first charcoal and then a small propane gas tank.

  • Hi, not sure if you can help...I'm new to this site. But, while stumbling thru the 'net I ran arcrss Robert Thomason and these pottery pics. I am looking for someone by this name and would like to say Hi and see how he is. Do you know Bob? I knew him many years ago in Florida. For obvious reasons I am hesitant to give much out about now, but it appears you have taken an interest in this "Robert H" work. Thanks for taking time to consider this, I will be glad to give more info. if needed. Swear, I am not a 'nut case'! But, just curious how a dear friend is, if in fact he is the same one.
