    • Hi Lynn! Well...times, they are a changin! It's been a while since we've been in touch & I'm no longer living in So. Cal! Bill and I moved to Colorado. I'm afraid that I'm really going to miss those California springs (not to mention the ocean!) For today, now that the sun has gone down, I am sitting in below zero weather. I've never seen a minus sign on my temperature gage in my car before today!!! I will always enjoy coming back to your beautiful albums to view the places that I love!     • Hi Lynn, I always love coming back to view your flower albums! I'm actually starting to get the "spring fever" bug already! I've been recuperating from surgery for the past 3 weeks & have not been able to get out much, so I have been re-working some of my albums. Now I want to get out & get some new pictures! If things keep up, it looks like we may have a really good wildflower season this year! As far as I know, Gorman never really bloomed in 2004, but if those hillsides bloom in 2005, you really shouldn't miss it!!!     • Hi Lynn, How are the Lompoc flower fields coming along? Things are pretty slow down here. Spring came & went very quickly this year! Many of the normal wildflowers never even got here at all! I've been busy getting ready for my son's wedding on the 4th of July...but once he's married I'm hoping to have a weekend to drive up the coast! My fingers are itching to snap some pictures!!     • Hi Lynn, I see that you've been busy!!! I LOVE the Pacific Grove pictures! And...the picture of the rose is fabulous!! We did have a great trip to Texas and I still have a ways to go with getting my pictures together.     • Hey Lynn...Better check out my album again - those Lompoc pics were from last year!!! You didn't miss anything & there's no reason to be embarassed!!! :)) I did add some new pics, but they were from Carlsbad, down in San Diego. I knew for a fact that they were in full bloom there, so I decided to check it out. It really is not all that far away, but the traffic was horrible!!! It looks like we're not going to get the wildflowers here like last year. I drove to Gorman a couple weeks ago and the hills were as brown as could be! Guess we'll have to hope for more rain next year! Bless you, Lynn

    • Hi Lynn, Thanks for your note! The peacocks really were fun and a new twist on a garden album!! I'm heading to Arizona/Colorado River this week for a few days, but once I get back I'm going to have to think about Lompoc. If we don't get some more rain, I'm afraid that we won't see much more of a bloom around here. My son is getting married on July 4th & may be moving to San Luis Obispo. If that happens, I may be heading up your way more often...maybe we can meet someday and go on a photo shoot together! Take care, Lynn :)))

    • One more thing...If I remember right, you have family in Santa Barbara. I hear that Figueroa Mountain is blooming & is expected to get even better. I've never been there, but am planning to visit in the next 2-3 weeks. The pics that I have seen from that area are gorgeous!!     • Hi Lynn! I can't believe that the flowers are blooming already!!! Is the whole valley blooming, or just a few fields? It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive for me, so I want to wait for the right time!! Things have definitely greened up down here, but not too many flowers yet. I'll let you know when the Gorman hills start to flower. (I may take a drive up there in a week or two because I'm getting anxious!)
