Hello Barb, This is a nice album of color. I especially like the first picture, "Pastel Peace", it is very well done. The tiger turned out very well too, great bright colors. I'm glad you cropped the "Oil on old window pane" to produce the last picture, it's my third favorite picture in the album and the cropping makes the picture. Good work, keep it up. My photography is on indefinite hold, I have too many other obligations, tasks, and commitments this summer. Regards and God bless, Carl

Hi Barb, Catching my GBs, saw your nice comments in my latest album and as turnabout is fair play here, it was time to take a look at your newest album. Stained glass: although your pictures also look a lot like paintings. Do you paint first, then make the stained glass after the fact? How's that work? I wish I had the know-how, but have had trouble cutting glass most of my life. Why is that so tough to learn anyway? Good seeing your name on my site. Best regards from this southern Oregon Coast, where it has NOT been raining for two days now. Ron

Hi Barb, how beautiful this album is! I love your stained glass, especially numbers 1,2,7 and 8. Stunning! You are very artistic, what a talent you have. I'm happy I found your albums. I wish you the happiest weekend! Greetings from Finland, Salla

Hi Barb, Yes I have looked at the albums of Louke many times and so did she at mine. She said the same as you did, that we are a bit alike in taking pictures. This is a wonderful album, have you made this yourself? You must be very artistic. I hope you"ll make more of this. Greetings.....Juana

Hello Barb, I like the colors and I especially like the fruits painted on the glass, the leopard, and the elderly couple on the bench. Good job. Regards and God bless, Carl

Hi Barb.. I am in a hurry as I'm going to the airport in 30 minutes to catch a plane to Venice (!!) About grainy: it is not grainy it is 'soft', 'blurred' and I rhink slightly moved. The Nikon will be slower than your sony. So it takes more time to focus. Give it that time so: Press the shutter button HALF in, wait a tiny moment and PRESS. Do consider a tripod or a monopod (i always use a tripod and I'm going for a monopod (tripod with ONE LEG). For heavy zooming or macro you will need a tripod anyway The gray turning button is the command dial, which you will be using in states other than automatic. You can find the details on this button in the manual: page 2,15,32,39,49,41,42,43,44 ,46,47,57,58 and 77. Greetings Anna

Hi Barb! Wonderful Stained Glass, you are so artistic! Love the Vines and the Tiger looks so very savage! Thankyou for your messages -- the Termites are not interested in eating people! They eat wood and are called the "silent workers" as they silently demolish the wooden framework of houses.. Hope you continue to enjoy my albums and I love getting your messages, but no more please until Sept 25th as I am going on a Wildflower Tour and my email box will overflow! Thanks, and have a great day.. Gladys.
